Helium 9/16 Cheyanne Small
I reviewed the prompt about who is responsible for Micheal Jackson's death.I learned that Micheals death was no accident and how it occured. It goes on to tell and describe what they think caused his death. The best essay was written to inform the reader about how he died and how his death is similar to other singers who have passes. I didn't really see any mistakes in this article. If I were to write and essay in response to this one I would have alot more information about the time surrounding his death and less about his childhood i would focus totally on Micheal.
Melvin- Journal Article Review- Dance Injuries
The article that I found was called “Musculoskeletal injuries in theatrical dancers: site, frequency, and severity”. I found it with a search of Google with the scholarly search turned on. The topic of the article is that dancers are extreme athletes and the tremendous amount of stress that they put on their. The stress that is put on their bodies can cause serious injuries; this article discusses some of the more common ones. I completely agree with every part of this article. It really is amazing how much stress dancers really do put on their body and the injuries described are exactly what many dancers I personally know suffer from. The author cited The Physician and Sports Medicine Journal repeatedly. I feel that the article is very well structured and even includes a hook in the beginning. I felt that this article was easier to follow and understand that some other scholarly articles I have encountered. If I where to use this article for a paper I would use the information about how much stress is put on a dancers body and how they are athletes just like a football player. I would also take the information about the types of injuries dancers deal with, but I would refer back to the medical journal they originally came from.
helium - Nicole Nixon
I did my blog on the Kanye West, Taylor Swift controversy. I learned how Kanye West has done many things that have given him a “bad boy” image. He has done many other controversial things like saying George Bush doesn’t like black people. The author of the best essay used correct grammar and had many examples and valid points. The authors of the other blogs misspelled some words and did not have many valid points. If I were to write this essay I would have written more about the scene at the VMA’s rather than about the past issues that have happened with Kanye.
Candace Flowers Helium Recipe for a long and happy life
The prompt that I reviewed was about a recipe for a long and happy life. By reading this essay I learned that in order to have a happy life it is all up to you. You have to be the one who maintains a positive attitude in tough situations. You also have to use manners, be kind and generous, and have a sense of humor. I also learned that kindness goes a long way. If you are kind to someone it will come back to you in return. For the best essay, the author had creativity. They designed the traits and qualities that one needs to have in a real recipe format. The essay flowed well and it contained alot of useful information. In the lesser essays, some of the mistakes that I observed were that the information was not organized. The author would jump from subject to subject and the examples did not flow well with each other. Another mistake that I saw was that the author in the lesser essays did not think expand their mind. They kept it short and simple. If I had to write an essay in response to this topic I would go about the same topics as some of the better essays. I would think of qualities that people need to have in order to have a happy successful stress free life.
Lauren Blake Proffitt- Helium- Standing Ovations
The prompt I decised to read was about the overuse of Standing Ovations. Being a part of the theater world for most of my life I have thought that standing ovations are very much so overused. I learned that I am quite obviously not the only one that feels this way and that even now there are some people out there that differ in opinion. The best rated Essay was wonderful. It was intriguing and It was extremely convincing of that persons opinion. It had all of the corrects technical parts as well. I read essay number thirteen and it was deserving of it's place. I found misuse of words and spelling mistakes. It also did not interest me as much(though I may be spoiled from the first essay). There was a part where the author clearly meant 'their' but used 'there'. Over all it followed the prompt which is more than I can say for the worst rated essay. This essay was written fine and could have been rated very well except that There was no relation to the prompt. The very last paragraph tied in standing ovations but the bulk of the essay was on the disappearing arts in schools and Americas under exposure to true art. If I were to write on this prompt, I would bring in my past experiences where I have been a part of both the audience and the performance. I would explain how standing ovations should be reserved only for truly exemplary works on that stage.

http://http//www.helium.com/items/1219137-marilyn-manson-as-a-musician
This is a very interesting topic, not only do I listen to some of Marilyn`s work/music. He is so different and strange that it is interesting. I learned that most people can not spell when they post articles. The first one was just a very descriptive event about the artist and the last on was just a list of what they like which is not very descriptive at all. Ha so funny. You guys have to read.

Stumble yo..It is a monday evening
http://http//www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2oA6sF/www.spaceinvaders.de//
Not a good source cited. The interesting thing about this article is as an arcade game, this one is my top pic along with Pac-man. It really is not anything new to me besides the fact that they are making an article of it besides The question I would ask the person is how did they manage to get information from Tokyo themselves. This article really is not my favorite so there is not much to talk about it.
http://http//www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1fQ6TY/wickedhalo.blogspot.com/2009/09/fallen-princesses.html/
So weird article. Not only do I not believe in plastic surgery, the article is right, this is pretty freaky and weird. You usually wear the usual clothes they give you but this definitely looks like someone who is a beauty queen or something of that sort who would rather not wear the normal procedure clothing. There are actually sources cited in this article. I would ask the writer what made them choose this kind of work to write about, a common interest or no? It does have its practical humor of some sorts also.
http://http//www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2bRq4E/www.art-dept.com/artists/rankin/portfolio/specialprojects/eyescapes/portfolio.html/
The odd thing about this article is it continues to show the different eyes that people may have and to let you have a common guess of maybe who the eyes may belong to. Kinda freaky but when you are looking at just an eye, what else can you expect. There are no sources cited. I would ask the photographer how did the edit the eyes or have different people eyes or even if these are human eyes, so many questions!

Stumble..Rashawndra Doby-Animals, Bora, and Relationships
http://http//www.stumbleupon.com/s/#21iSAu/acidcow.com/pics/3706-new_animal_photos_20_pics.html/
The interesting and new thing about these article/pictures is that they are all so different and new. All pictures tells a different story which is very unique. If you love animals and want to see a different love story in each picture than i would recommend this article to you. The sources are not cited that well, it is only one cite which is the url. The question I would have for this article is how did the artists/photographer get the animals for the right time to pose in their poses.
http://ttp//www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1pEDVe/www.thetravelerszone.com/travel-destinations/25-stunning-pictures-of-bora-bora//
I have never been to Bora Bora so the interesting thing about this article is seeing all the pictures of a place that i have never seen or been to. If you love far away exotic places then visit this page. The sources are cited fairly well, it has a couple of sources. The question that I would like to ask would be how often do the photographers take the trips to Bora Bora.
http://http//www.stumbleupon.com/s/#7LEZxV/www.philintheblanks.com/comics/manenough.html/
This article is very funny to me. It is a series of "Are you really man enough?" to ask those questions to a mom or dad to ask their daughter on a date or marriage. If you like a little humor or need relationship advice than think of this article, look to it for help. No sources at all. The question I would ask the writer is what exactly think of this topic.

The first thing I learned is to make sure that you are a responsible rabbit owner. If you are not a well care taker, it will die. Which is very horrible to your animal reference of course. The first essay was the best because it was the shortest but it got straight to the point. The writer was the only person as a rabbit owner. The writing element is a voice tone that is mellow. She does not use any foul language or a tone that can be heard from around the world. The writer with the most mistakes is the last article. This author has a long article that is very complex and not straight to the point which confuses the audience. Plus she is not a rabbit owner.

Cats, rat eating plants and weird animals on earth-Rashawndra Doby
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1DNpKj/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/5933325/Pet-cat-catches-the-daily-bus-for-four-years.html/topic:Animals
No citation.
The first thing that interested me into this topic was the title. Not that i`m a cat lover but i found it very fond to know that a cat can catch a public transportation than I can. Couple things crossed my mind as I was reading this article, 1: Why and how does a cat get to ride a public transportation and not get told to get off and 2: Seriously?! the cats been doing this for four years?! AMAZING! Honestly if I were the owner of the cat I would always wonder where my kitten has gone, as the owner would you not think to ask those things about your own animal? Day by day the cat gets older and older so of course it would have trouble seeing where its stop has to be. And now again I wonder, "Will other animals have the opportunity to transport themselves throughout a town or city without there owners?" "Whatever happened to NO ANIMALS ALLOWED signs?" "Is this the start of something new where a law has to be enforced about animals riding public transportation's?" If I had learned anything from this article it has to be animals really are people too.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#8UHnid/www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthnews/6041241/Rat-eating-plant-discovered-in-Philippines.html/
Rat eating plant?! Where do people find things or beings that are not even like "Oh a new plant." As the article continues, it goes on saying how the plant eat insects and also rodents, which is great for the wildlife since it may be destroying the wildlife. The interesting thing about this article has to be the name. For one it is REALLY long of a name for a plant but I guess that just goes along with being a plant or any new science known fact a scientist has found. I would definitely recommend this article to those who enjoy science and facts about plants. Posted by Chris Irvine.

Looking at this picture I found that it is particularly on the odd side. Odd things such as animals or unknown facts are what sparks the rarity of ideas into my head. I have never seen animal such as this. If you like looking at weird objects, animals, or places than certainly check out this link. The most appealing thing about this article would be the photo itself. If as if its a Mona Lisa and all you have to do is look at the picture and think for yourself as of to what it is. The photo speaks for itself, just watch and stare and have an opinion all on your own.

Helium 2 - Ryan Sparks
Hot to tell if a girl like you
http://www.helium.com/items/851878-how-to-tell-if-a-girl-likes-you
Article 3 of 14 - this person made good points and even drew out points of their own about this mater. Like how it isn't always easy for guys to read these signs and signals that girls supposedly put out there for us to pick up on, it's even harder if you do not really know the girl because some girls are naturally flirtatious and will send of these signals to everyone.
Article 5 of 14 -Woman - I loved what this person had to say, it really showed how we commentate threw the years in form of attraction and showing affection or interest as we age. They also made it evident that girls have probably the weirdest ways of communication sometimes and is harder for boys and men to interpret being so much smarter(that was a joke) but girls do send out a lot of mixed signals and guys sometimes do not know which way they are supposed to go or how to interpret them.
Article 6 of 14 - Man - This guy started by declaring what century it is and I think that in itself is a whole other side to this subject in that over time so many things have changed like stated there used to be no language and communication was all body language, but once we developed words they have changed as well in the way people will throw out the world love like it isn't anything special or in the different stages of the united states in how free some women would be and how keep others would be and the time when asking a girl to a movie was a really big deal to now when it doesn't really have so much behind it.

Patterson TeenagersVs.Adults
As you already know teenagers and adults, they are not on the same page with each other sometimes. Cause most teenagers they think since they are at a certain age they don't have to go by there parents rules. Many teenagers forget how to act in a way that, people can look at them and see if they are soon to be adults, but by acting like you are a child and you are really not people gone think you still are a child just by the way you are acting in public. Both adults and teenagers shoul be able to talk to one another in a adult matter without them getting mad at one another. Also when the adult is talking to the teenager, teenagers should be able to listen to the adult without catching an attitude. I think teenagers an adults should respect one another without one getting mad and saying stuff that they really don't mean. The stronger essay states strong ideas and also give a lot of support tthan the other ones that i had read. It also gives examples about what they are talking about. The lesser essay it didn't support there ideas like they should and should have gave more examples. But overrall i liked the first essay the best it had a lot of support.
Ashley Helium Vegetables
The Question is: Are Canned Vegetables as healthy as fresh ones?-bre ashley
Fewer people believe that canned vegetables are just as healthy as fresh ones than those that believe the than those that believe they are. Some say that when we cook vegetables both canned and fresh until they are soft they lose their nutrients. So they are equally healthy. For those that oppose believe that freshly grown vegetables have been treated with chemicals and natural pesticides to prevent us from eating any pest and to keep the vegetables from spoiling. Vegetables can spoil and lose nutritional value while canned so you got to be careful about what you are eating. The stronger essay states that they have tried both canned and fresh vegetables and gives in detail and supports his point very well. For the lesser essay they are not strictly focused on Yes their just as good or No their not. He talks about the good and the bad of both canned and fresh vegetables. I believe that fresh vegetables are healthier for the body than those that are canned for one reason is that they are straight from the garden and are more natural they have not yet been through the whole canning processes which can take nutrients away. Another reason is that there is more sodium in canned vegetables than in fresh which is not very healthy. Personally there is nothing like having some vegetables that came straight from the garden.

helium master eric jackson
The prompt I reviewed today on helium was why happiness is contagious. I learned that happiness is mostly contagious. We can become happy from happy surroundings and happy people. For the best essay the author used stats and examples in life to show how one could become happy. For the lesser essays authors needed not facts. If I was to write about this I would use examples from things that make me happy to show happiness and why it is contagious.

Hartley Helium Food & Drink
I read an aritcle about eating breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gets you started and prepared for a day ahead. It helps you focus and concentrate better throughout the day. It presented me with facts about why it is better to eat breakfast and not skip it. Normal people eat two hours before bed so when they wake up from eight hours of sleep then there body is practically broken from no food. It needs to be reenergized with food the next morning and healthy food would be a plus. The other articles were more personal experiences but helped me understand why I should eat breakfast.
MacConnell Helium Weight
In the article it talks about how in today’s world we tend to judge others by there weight. It is said that individuals are being bullied and discriminated due to being obese. At school obese children are targets for being made fun of and being bullied around. I can not imagine what that would feel like. The source is sited well and explains good points.
http://www.helium.com/items/199381-how-weight-issues-damage-your-potential
It is said that in today’s world women are have to work two times as hard as men to stay afloat, and three or for times more diligently to be successful. Also, it is found that obese women are found in lower socioeconomic classes. Studies have also shown that women can not control there food intake sometimes, which leads to becoming obese. In the article it was cited well and had good points.
http://www.helium.com/items/198061-how-weight-issues-damage-your-potential
The self esteem by millions is taken over by issues concerning weight. Many think that a world with out scales is a good idea, but if you really think about it you should be glad that was have such a thing. Knowing our weight is a good idea because other wise we are going have many health issues.
