Week 2 stumble-Will Chase

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2KjouJ/www.behance.net/Gallery/made-of-wood/272859/topic:Sculpting
This article was interesting because the sculptures were a combination of trees and body parts. I would recommend this article to people because it is weird and interesting. The article says the pictures are from Oper Dahan's portfolio.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#9U0das/www.toxel.com/inspiration/2009/08/24/14-unusual-and-creative-slippers//topic:Crafts
This article interesting because it showed unusual and creative slippers.
I would recommend this article to someone who likes wacky new things. This page is not sited very well. It only says that the pictures are from Toxel.com
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#21iSAu/acidcow.com/pics/3706-new_animal_photos_20_pics.html/topic:Animals
This article is interesting because it shows cool pictures of different kinds of animals. I would recommend this article to people who like animals. This page is not sited at all.

Animals and ancient dentistry-Justin Katz

I thought it was interesting how a lady can live with 11 big cats successfully without being harmed. I would recommend a classmate would look at this because it is funny how she lives with all these animals. The sources however, aren't cited very well. A question I would have about this topic is how much money does she spend on feeding her pets.
What I found interesting about this was how friendly the wild koalas were with people. I would recommend a classmate look at this because it is so unreal how friendly and trusting the wild koalas are with people. The sources are cited fairly well. My question about this topic would be are the koalas still being friendly.
What I found interesting about this was how long ago this was and how they found ways to protect and repair their teeth. I would recommend a classmate look at this because its cool how they used to use gems to fix teeth. The sources are cited well. My question would be if they have found any ancient dentist tools.

James Bond-Daniel Craig

I reviewed the new James Bond actor-Daniel Craig. The article talks about how Daniel Craig has adapted to the role of James Bond. I learned that the author quite liked the new 'tough guy' image that Craig brings to the character, and this is prefered to Pierce Brosnan's more 'smooth' image as Bond. The writer was good in that she referred Craig to Brosnan, and compared their pro's and con's, making the story less biased. However, he clearly favoured Craig to Brosnan, as he talked about all his good attributes, claiming 'his performance is nearly perfect' which is an extremely high compliment. I think overall, the author is slighlty too biased towards Craig, and doesn't write enough about Brosnan's better attributes. If I were to write an essay in response, I would make it a more well - balanced arguement, although in the end I would still favour Craig as the better Bond.

www.phobiaguide.com//

This website is just a list of all different types of phobias or fears. I would recommend it if
someone wanted to figure a name for a phobia they have.

www.freegongbutton.com//
This website is a gong and you hit the mallet and it hits the gong. It is ok for relieving stress but then it gets extremely annoying so i would not suggest it.

addictordie.com/games/cursorinvisible.php?fullscreen=1/
This website is a game and your cursor dissappears and you try to hit as many targets that you can without knowing where your cursor is, i found it entertaining and i would suggest for if someone is bored.

My first stumble I had come across was like a picture of Heaven.
Sunsets are always relaxing to look at, but this particular one has something that draws you to it. It could be that it has an amazing view of the beach. Or perhaps the feeling that you are the only one for miles? Either way, the picture is absolutely breath taking. It reminds me of back home in Florida when I would spend spring break at the beach and pick the highest point I could get to on the highest building just to watch the sunset. As if nobody was around and I was the only being left on the planet, it felt like I could be anywhere or do anything. I wonder if the person who took this picture felt the same, or if they had any similar feelings for that matter. I wonder if they felt like they too had seen a piece of Heaven...

http://www.stumbleupon/s/#8Qoac^/www.123opticalillusions.com/pages/double-image-illusion.php/

Optical illusions are always fun to look at because they have a weird way of playing games with your mind. Often you have to have a twisted sense to get some of these illusions. In this illusion I stumbled upon, there is two sides to the concept. When you first look at the picture, you will either see nine dolphins swimming. Or you will see a couple in an "intimmate" position. It explains that young children do not see the intimate couple because they have not been exposed to such posture. I have a thought on this comment. Even though the child might not have experienced this posture, might they see the couples image if they have seen the intimate position before?

http://stumbleupon.com/s/#2g1qCp/www.zefrank.com/flowers//

This was a very neat stumble because it allows you to create your own flower. I know it sounds amazing right? I think it is a great idea because just like people, every flower is different. People can go to this website and create a flower according to the mood they are in or one for every person they are thinking about. It can be used as a theraputic tool to express emotions people feel and can be used everyday over and over again.

Stumble Upon WK2-Kasey Talley

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1wIb2m/andyslife.org/games/sand.php/- Hell of Sand! It amazed me how intrigued I was by this simple game that has no real objective or goal. The basic task is to make an obsticle coarse for the flow of substances to go. You are able to pick any path inwhich you would like for them to flow and also you can pick different contents to pour. It takes a few mintues to really understand what you are doing but after you mess around with it for a few you start to get the hang of it.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1FhFTI/www.demonbaby.com/pics/americanworld.gif/ - I started laughing as soon as I saw and read this map. This map depicts thoughts of over 80% of the U.S. population thinks about different parts of the world. George Bush also pops into my mind when I see this picture because "A-mar-ca" looks at the world in an ignorant way. It depicts how lazy we are and stupid. I find this picture funny but also upsetting because this represents a bad depiction of America .

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1TVb4H/uploads.ungrounded.net/221000/221483_Play.swf/
This is by far the coolest thing I have found on blogger! I was blown away by how intriguing it was. It first starts out with an outline of a door then it opens and the out line for a man comes out from there it turns into him tapping his foot which turns into four guys doing different motions while making sound which create a really cool beat. They took basic movements that make sound like clapping your hands together, or tapping your foot basic moves put together to make a cool beat. I found this video really fascinating.

Erica N Golden-Jones ( Stumble Upon)

This picture is absolutely beautiful It seems like it would be a very pretty sunset. This picture gives me a relaxed feeling that makes me think. The details in the picture does it a great deal of justice.I appreciate art work like this. The water seems to be calm like you could sit there for hours just to clear your mind. The fact that the picture is in a mood of darkness is sets a very subtle tone , not one you would normally associate with a picture this beautiful.
This photographic is the true definition of picture perfect it looks like something that could have been put together for a fourth of July fireworks show. Its a very simple photo that catches your eye and makes you wonder how the picture got to be where it is today and who originally thought of something so exquisite.http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#AombUa/images-1.redbubble.com/img/art/size:xlarge/view:main/238567-12-3d-jellyfish-thing.jpg/topic:Photography
This was a funny outlook on how life as a college student is.The character was banging his head right before the final exams and right after he had taken them he fell outside of the door.Although I don't feel like this is how my college life is or ever will be I found this animation to be a very funny one.http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#32qVeq/funnyrofl.wordpress.com/our-college-life//topic:Humor

StumbleUpon Blog # 2 Halee Hartley

This article interested me because it is trying to prove this "gel" that people are saying can be injected into soldiers brains to help with traumatic injuries after returning from war. There are many other possibilites that soldiers can turn to before this option but it is an option. The article did not say whether or not it worked or was reliable but that is what further research is for. Its purpose is to kill the cells that have been damaged and encourage growth of healthy ones.

So this man walks into a Bank of America wanting to cash a check for his wife using her account which is totally legal. The teller asks for ID proof and the man galdly obliges. Even after 2 ID proofs the man refused to cash the check. The Teller asks for the mans fingerprints and sadly, the man is armless. He has no arms! After this discrimination he left, being denied access to cash a simple check. Thankfully, the bank called later to apologize.

Growing older does make you happier. Just think about it. No more work, retirement plans, traveling, no school, no place to be except for the doctors office occasionally and nobody to worry about but yourself and what your going to do within the next hour. That would be the life if you ask me. So why not want to grow older? Its great and have alot of good, healthy affects on your physical and emotional state of mind.

Musical Crystal Glasses Like Never Before

This is really amazing this guy is great i can barely make the sound with one crystal glass, he does it with almost fifteen of them. The sounds he is making is down right cool, he must of had to practice many months or years to perfect the song he was playing. I would recommond this video to any one in the class with an open mind.http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1xXBm3/videos.aclevercookie.com/video/ALvrdtoi/

Pick the Perk click here

I thought this was and interesting stumble because you got to test your skills on picking out criminals. I would recommend this to a class mate because one the people are funny locking and two because it may up your knowledge on what criminals look like. It was also very interesting testing my own skill haha.

Funny Posters you have to take a look

Nothing was really new to me about this page but the posters were actually really funny so click on the linkhttp://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#8XXJ5S/villageofjoy.com/25-motivational-posters//. Theres not really much to talk about this web page because theres no writing just pictures but i would check it out any ways!

Stumble # 2 - Emily Jones

The first website I found while on stumble was called www.moviemistakes.com. It was a website in which it gave a list of movies and told mistakes that could be found in each, for example in the movie PS. I Love You the scene of when he looses his buckle is told to have multiple mistakes because at some angles it is not there and at some point the buckle becomes reattached to his pants. This is a good website if you want to find mistakes to watch for then go back and watch them for your self while viewing the movie. The sources are cited fairly well because if gives the specific movie. I wonder how people could find these mistakes in movies, I would probably never notice.

The second website i viewed was called getmooh.com and it allowed you to type in phone numbers and send a call at a certain time with a variety of messages, from happy birthday to funny prank calls. I recommend this site as a way to send your friends and family funny messages, because it would be fun to receive one I think anyway. It is free so by doing this does the website make any money from the service and I wonder how it actually works.

The third website that I found interesting was called http://www.coolcanuckaward.ca/joe_canadian.htm. It shows a video clip about a man named Joe giving a speech about how Canada is different from the rest of the world and how it is similar. I would recommend this to anyone who has been to Canada or likes Canada. I am Canadian so I understand the comments the video made which made it funny. The sources are cited fairly well, it is a Canadian beer company commercial from a website called fishing Canada. The question I have of this website is when was this on TV?

stumble kwame

i found this interesting because many time there will be inspirational message that a person could tell you or you could even read but this is like a creative way to do so. i would recommend this to a down and depressed classmate that is have issues. i wish i knew where there was an artist or website to where i could find more of these.

Eazy Cheezy Toolbox of Internet Resources
I ask you have you ever been away from home, maybe a road trip and you remember " dang there's a game on tonite." Then you start wishing there was a way to get watch the game on the internet. I have, I found this interesting because ive don this my self and wasnt able to find the game on the internet or im not in the cable providers area. this couldbe be helpfull to a student whos is a intense fan but is "away" from his team.

helium #2 Eric Jackson

The helium prompt that I read today was about the best sporting events in 2008. Picking a single event to be the best sporting event is an arduous task, however because it was 2008 the Beijing Olympics took the podium. What made this event so great were the athlete’s accomplishments including Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps. Usain Bolt became the fastest man on earth shattering the 100 meter record in 9.58s. Also he broke the 200 meter and the 4x100 meter relay. Michael Phelps did it big in 2004 with 6 gold metals but in 2008 wanted to be the greatest in the world and did so with 8 gold metals. Last the United States took the win for the most medals 110; however china defeated the US with 51 to 36golds. The best essay used the examples of the accomplishments above to display how the Olympics was the greatest sporting event in 2008. In some of the lesser essays authors tried to say that just one individual sport was the best. I do not think that one sport could have been the best, when in the event of having every sport in the Olympics.

I stumbled upon a pic of a two story palace built completely out of Lego's. He has used 816 million Lego's so far. James Mays must have a lot of time on his hand to be able to create a house out of Lego's. I wonder how he is going to keep it from falling down, because they never mentioned whats holding it together. I would like my fellow peers to look at the photos because they are cool.

I stumble across Van Gogn Starry Nights painting. To me this is a picture of a little down that does not see many good bright days. Everything is gloomy and everyone is in despair. The way the wind is swirling around looks like its going to blow the town into a worst position its already in. For my fellow students, do you see the things I see or something different? Is the town hopeless you? Or do you just the the town at night?

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2CGSfK/vesolt.free.fr/dna.htm/

I stumbled upon how to extract your DNA at home in other words to be able to see your DNA. There are 6 listed steps you must follow in order in to this right. I think it would be a good biology project for someone who wants to study genetics because DNA is nothing but your genes in a double Helix. Why do I think other students should try it? Just to see what your DNA looks like. Does it look like the science models or something else to you?

power plant in space

I stumbled upon this article about Japan spending 21 billion dollars to put a power plant in space. The power plant would send energy from space to the earth and be able to supply energy to 294,000 home with no cables. This seems cool and all but what are the health risks with this power plant. If it is "beaming" energy down on the people of Japan couldn't that energy cause cancer or other types of illness's? Is the price of the power plant really worth the risk of every person who lives in Japan? How about the price 21 billion dollars to build this thing and it wont even give half a million power? What happens if the power plant is damaged by something its not like you can just call up your local energy provider and fix it, they would have to send a space ship the space and its not like thats cheap. I think they are putting way to much money in to this project and not even providing enough energy for the whole country.

Helium Jacob Darling

The prompt I did was on “why chronic pain is a medical issue not a mental problem.” After reading the prompt I learnt that the majority of opinions agreed that yes, chronic pain is a medical issue. I believe that Chronic pain can be both a medical issue and a mental problem, depending on the person. For example, there are many people in the world that often complain because there joints are sore or the muscles are to sore to play sport. When a lot of the time it is just in there head. However there are many elderly people out there that do have chronic problems with there muscles or joints. I found there was little that separated the better prompts from the not so good prompts. It was simply the more evidence that supported the different opinions the related to the prompt.

Picture: http://images.stanzapub.com/readers/2009/05/19/1553668e1d6b16a77_1.jpg
What I found to be interesting about this page was all the facts about dogs and cats on there. The thing that was new to me was, the cats whiskers can detect movements that are 2,000 times smaller than the width of the human hair. Also that dogs have around 100 facial expressions and the pitbulls and bulldogs expressions get interpretted the wrong way by other dogs which may cause them to fight. I would recommend this site to my classmates that are interesting in learning some interesting things about dogs and cats. The sources are sited pretty well on this page. My question for this topic is, what are some more interesting things about cats, dogs, and other animals that some people may want to know?

What I found interesting about this site is that scientists think that they have caught the "chupacabra" in Texas. I didn't know it existed and also what they found looks like a dog corpse, not a mysterical creature. I would recommend this site to a classmate if they seen this on the news and wanted to know a little more about it. The sources are sited okay on this page. My question on this topic is, what exactly is this creature they found, dog or chupacabra?

What I found interesting about this site and what was new to me is they found something on Mars that might be able to show if and when there was life on Mars. I would recommend this site to a classmate who is interested in if there was life on Mars at one point and who likes astronomy. The sources are sited really well on this site. My question on this topic is, from what they now know about Mars, was there life at one point on that planet?

I though this StumbleUpon was very interesting because I love to discover new things about the human body and I love to just read about it and how it works. I also want to go into the medical field so reading about the human body is good, so when I come upon these case cinereous I will be some what informed already.  I would definitely suggest this to a classmate especially if they were interested in a medical field. The only question is, is how do you remember and retain all this information and not get confused?  I was very interested in this article over-all.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#19gXcL/www.preview-online.com//topic:Movies

This StumbleUpon was a preview of “The Final Destination.”  Yes, it is scary but I like scary movies and I like to watch movies that have suspense in them and from these previews this movie has it. I would not recommend this to someone who doesn’t like scary movies but for someone who likes them I would definitely recommend this movie. This StumbleUpon is sited very well it has the director of the movie, the writer, and the cast. How do people come up with things like this? Ways to die? I mean I wonder sometimes what is wrong with these people and how there brain works.

The last article I StumbledUpon was an article about making vanilla panna cota with grapefruit syrup. It sounds very nasty but you will never know unless you try it.. I don’t understand why you have to make something look so pretty when all your going to do it eat it. Some of the steps look kind of tricky so I don’t know if it is hard or not but I would say it was hard! But I really like the step by step pictures, that helps out a lot!!! The vanilla part sounds good but the grapefruit syrup is a turn off for me. I would recommend this site to someone if they liked to try new things and they loved to cook. This post was by: Kiteless so you don’t really know who this person is, but at least it has someone to clam it.
