Jones Stumble Summer

For my first article I reviewed was called "fun in the tub with bath tube paint" at http://www.burbmom.net/fun-in-the-tub-with-bathtub-paint/. It is a recipe about how to make finger paint with dish detergent, corn starch, boiling water and food coloring. It is an easy way to let children have fun in the bathtub and clean it at the same time. This would be a fun activity if you were babysitting and had to give smaller kids baths or for parents. The source is a website called burbmom that makes up fun things to do with children.

The second article i found was called "ten rules for being human" and was basically wise and somewhat funny rules to being human. My favorite on was "Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself." I thought it was an interesting way to look at people, and had never thought about it. I recommend this article to someone who is interested in learning a little about how everyone thinks in a humorous way. The source was the my source company. The URL was http://www.bluinc.com/free/human10.htm.

The third website was http://summerfives.com/?excmpid=OC20-ST-1-teens and gave many different mini choices to see what the majority of people enjoyed the most about summer. For example the best reality show, summer food, theme park, fun sites, TV station etc. For each title gave five options and as you clicked on an option you like the most the results of the public was shown, in percentages. It was really cool to see what you thought compared to other people. I recommend this to anyone who likes to do quizzes online or see what was hot this summer so to speak. The source was the collegeboard, which is normally pretty accurate. My only question is who took the poll? only people on the website and also when? It would be interesting to know

1.http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1J39Fg/laist.com/2007/08/08/stoners_demand.php/topic:Activism". 2. What was interesting to me about this page is that how is stoners going to save california. 3. I will recommend some of my classmates to this site because i believe half of them either smoke weed or know someone who does. 4. The sources are cited pretty well on this site, it gives you all u need to know. 5. My question is if u going to tax stoners, how will the drug lords get taxed?

Effects and so forth-Rashawndra Doby

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2zU8VE/www.designshard.com/video-tutorials/11-great-photoshop-photo-effects-tutorials//

This article is actually pretty interesting. It`s showing the differences of effects this artist has to offer. The part I extremely liked was how The question I would ask would be how did he find the different effects, like making them himself. I would recommend this article to artists who are interested in effects and drawing.
So apparently everyone has done this article before, but i can really care less. I stumbled it and now I want to do it. Interesting because it is very funny. I mean biased yes but its comedy and somewhat true. You cannot go wrong without stumbling this. If you like funny comments and drawings about your own country than stumble this. No sources from what I see. I would ask the artist if they are americans or not.

So this is a not so common blog. Kids playing on the playground as monsters, could be common when they wanna be vicious and mean around the other kids. Haha it is actually scary funny so if you do not like kids than this is a blog for you. Definitely no sources cited, pretty random if you ask me. I would ask the artists how did they figure that children would be the monsters on the playground?

Gooding-Stumble-Rubik's Cube

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2cvtb1/www.goodmanlivingwell.com/RubiksCube.htm/

I have always been amazed by watching people solve the rubik's cube. There are some who can solve it in a matter of seconds and even people who can solve it behind their back!! I know that I could do that if I practiced and tried hard enough, but I just don't have the patience or time to. What fascinated me most about the page was that someone had actually taken the time to explain and write out the best way to solve the rubik's cube. It was amazing how much time and detail that they put into these papers to be able to help others who want to learn more about the rubik's cube. I think that anyone who wants to learn how to actually solve the rubik's cube, without taking off the stickers, would be interested in this page since it would be the best and easiest way for then to learn how to solve it. And who knows maybe they'll brake a record or something!!! This stumble is not cited at all. My question would have to be: How long did it take you to learn how to solve the rubik's cube? I think to future my research I would have to actually get myself a rubik's cube and try to learn how to solve it myself using these steps.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2Sio8J/www.5ad.org/AmazingFacts.htm/

Who doesn't love to learn interesting facts about World War II? I know that it always fascinates me when I learn a new fact that I may not have known before hand! A lot of the facts that I read in this stumble were new to me. For example I had no idea that the U.S Army had more ships than the U.S Navy. I personally find that ironic!! I think that a classmate who enjoys fun facts or is really interested in War time history would enjoy this stumble immensely. I think that if a classmate had a history project due and wanted some fun facts to liven up their paper then this stumble would come in handy. This stumble is cited quite well. My question for this stumble would be: How did you find out these World War II fun facts?

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1b9Crq/www.gizmodo.com.au/2009/09/this-clip-is-proof-that-birds-are-secretly-composers//

Birds on a wire, I think what everyone else thinks 1) I'm going to get pooped on, or 2) Why do they do that? But after this video I think that I will view birds on a wire much differently. Who knew that someone would be ingenious enough to actually look at birds on a wire and see music? I know that I would never see that. It was really fascinating for me since while throughout middle and high school I played the flute. I really enjoyed music and I loved to be able to play it. I think that for someone to be able to look at something as simple as birds sitting on a phone wire and make a piece of music out of it takes some real talent and I eye for music! I wish I had that skill! I think that a classmate would enjoy this stumble if they really appreciate music or just love music in general. I also believe that any classmate would enjoy this stumble since it is just so fascinating to be able to look at the birds and then watch as it turn into a piece of music right before your eyes. It's pretty awesome. This stumble was cited a little bit. My question for this stumble would be: How long did it take you to see the music and write the piece down? I think that any future research I would do would have to be to take a music writing course and try to write my own music from birds on a wire.

Bo Foster photo shop click here

These pictures are amazing it would of taken hours to complete just one. All the pictures are great I have no clue how to do this all i know is you would have to be very motivated and dedicated to your work. I would recommend this to a fellow class mate if they would under stand how long it must of took some one to complete one of these, understand what kind of talent one must have do this.

Bo Foster Grave markers click here

The grave markers on this page are very crafty especially the motorcycle ones they look like it took a long time to make some of them because they were very detailed. I don't know why i would refer this to a class mate other than because they were cool looking and probably very expensive.

stumble frazier weird pictures

I stumble across this picture, and it brought back memories when I went and visited the Niagara Falls State Park back in 2005. They say it's about 200,000 U.S gallons of water per second, so that's is a lot of water that frozen in 1911. I would recommend because it's a very interesting places to visit. The page was not cited at all. A question I would have is how long did it take before the water was back to normal.

The next stumble I came across, and I thought it was very creative how the artist came up with all the 11 photo effect. All the images have there own great effect. I would recommend this to my classsmates who are very interested in the art and design field. The page was cited ok. A question I would have is what techiques did he/she use for those pictures.

I stumble across this article, and it catch my attention because I thought the figures were all real people. I would recommend this to my classmates because it's very interesting and unique. I thought the page was not cited very good. A question I would ask is how long did it take to make one of those mask.

StumbleUpon

The first website that I stumbled upon was a video of an animal (the type is unknown) being tickled by what I'm assuming is its owner. It was the cutest thing in the world to me. The way it (the animal) raised its' arms as though displaying comfort from its owner massaging it. The mysteriousness of the creature is what made this stumble so interesting. I would recommend a classmate view this page because, it's so cute, it's funny, and they can get to see that some of the meanest or scariest looking creatures are actually cuddly and friendly. Cited sources arent necessary on this web page. A question that I have about this page and the video is where did this person find a cute and mysterious pet like this?

____________________________________________________________________

The second website that I stumbled upon is called "Are You Man Enough". This website is very interesting, because it is a series of comics, drawn out neatly of a man and a troubled looking woman. The man asks the girl's father whether he could marry his daughter. But the mean father is resistant. The father gives in and allows the man to marry his daughter under one condition... He must play a really cool guitar solo. I would recommend a classmate view this in order to get a laugh in. Sources are cited well, the author of the comic is given with his email address listed. One question in my mind is what inspired the author to create this series of comic drawings.

____________________________________________________________________

The third website that I stumbled upon was a periodic table, this was definately interesting to me because my 11th grade teacher was big on the periodic table. Oh how I miss that woman. She made us memorize every single element, along with the element's atomic number, and the initials. I would recommend a classmate view this page to become more familiar with the periodic table, learn the symbols, and the atomic number. Sources arent cited really well on this site. As a matter of fact I dont see any sources cited at all on this site. One question in my mind is what was the creator thinking, as far as feelings, what did he feel when creating the periodic table?

Talley- Stumble Upon - Sep 30

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#16GWIV/flash.abunawaf.com/2005/10/whackboss.swf/ The first thing I stumbled upon was a website called WhackYourboss.com I thought at first it was going to be funny kinda like whackamole, but I was totally wrong this is a game in which you pick objectes to literally kill your boss with. The senioreo is in cartoon form and your boss walks in your office and starts complaining about your work skills and bad habbits. After he is finished talking you can click on diefferent object and then it plays out this bloody, deathly fight between the boss and the employee. I was really destrubed by the different sences and that people would actually find this entertaining.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2oA6sF/www.spaceinvaders.de// The second thing I stumbled upon was an interactive game called Space Invaders. It is a shooting game where your objective is too shoot and destory the invaders. This game was one of the first arcade games it was released before Pinball Machines and Slots. It was desgined in 1978 in Japan and is still the most popular acarcade game.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1uk3In/www.flickr.com/photos/burn_tires/3844038109// -The third thing I stumbled upon was an image of Mario and the mushroom made out of Pepsi products. I thought this was very impressive and probably very time consuming. The way in which the soda boxs are arranged in order to depict an image is just amazing.

The planning that went behind this project alone would be very time consuming.

StumpleUpon Hartley Baby

This is article was really sad. It was an article about a British woman had her baby at 21 weeks. The doctors told her that the baby would be stillbron because it was severly underdeveloped. The baby was born breathing, crying and moving both arms and legs. By law, the doctor could not treat and care for the baby. British law states that if a baby is born before 22 weeks, then you cannot try and save it. This baby was 2 days shy of 22 weeks. The mom held the baby in her arms and watched it die after doctors refused to save him. This article should act as an awareness to doctors and "laws" who think it is okay to not try and save a human being that is clearly alive.

This article caught my attention because it is really hard to be cordial and friends with your exes. I don't know what it is but it's just always going to be awkward until you both come to some kind of agreement or peace with eachother. My favorite point in the article was "acquantices with history". I agree with this and then I don't. For example, if you were in a relationship for 1 year and then you break up. Its hard to even talk so being an aquantice can be hard for a while but then once you are friends then it might be easier to say this. This article is great for couples to read together so that both man and woman know what to expect if something was to happen.

Im not so sure about this article but it would be worth doing more research on and if it really was true. This man alledegely swam the amazon river only drinking two bottles of wine a day. He is an alcoholic who claims that all he needed was to prove to himself that he could beat the amazon river with his beer belly and glasses of wine.

poindexter stumble

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2foKDO/medicaltranscriptionist.org/biologically-curious/huge-dogs/topic:Animals
when i was little i remember watching Clifford the Big Red Dog, and i always thought a dog could never get that big. the dogs on this page may not be as big as Clifford but they are still gigantic. i that this was so cool, i mean i never seen as dog this size throughout my life time. it's so unordinary but its so amazing at the same time.

well stumbling i ran across the most mind blowing thing. on this website there is a man who creates thing out of wood. the picture on the left is one of the things that he made.i thought this was so amazing and interesting, because there not many people that create such extravagant things out of wood. the fact that he was able to get the piece of art work to float on water is also amazing. i thought this would be a good blog because it's unique and different and outstanding work by an human being.
on this website it shows a piece of art work that's not only time consuming but difficult. it shows that artist must have patients and talent to create such a piece of work. this piece of work is so amazing perfect that it makes you want to try to create a self portrait of oneself .
