American Ballet Theater is by far the best performing company in the nation. There website tells you everything you need to know about the company. It gives the history, performance dates and locations, and a biography on all of its members. I highly recommend that if anyone gets the chance to go see ABT, that they take advantage of it. All of their dancers are what students like me strive to be like. ABT also has a school for young children who excel in dance; the website also gives information how to audition for the school. The artistic director and executive director are listed under the logo. I would like to know where dancers can audition to become members of the company or if there are any other positions available like costume mistress or office jobs.

Rachael Yamagata is a very talented artist. I am very surprised that I have never heard her music before. She is a singer, songwriter, and pianist who began writing songs at the age of fourteen. Her music is very calming; the first song “Elephant” made me an instant fan. If you are a fan of Sarah Bareillis and Regina Spektor then you need to look up Rachael Yamagata right this second. The website states that she writes all her own songs; she is represented by Warner Brothers Records. I would like to know where I can go buy her CD and why have I not heard of her before!

Where you ever watching a movie and a character wreck a car and then a few minutes later drove away and the car was perfectly fine? Well now you can see if you are really crazy or not. Now moviemistakes.com clears all these questions up. The website list popular movies and editing mistakes that are in them. I found that the most common mistake is cups, the color of a cup that the character is holding often changes. The website does not say who actually found the mistakes and published them, but looking them up on YouTube they all seem to be true. I would like to know what the studios reaction to these mistakes. Who gets in trouble when these mistakes make it all the way to though the editing room and to the final cut.

The helium article I read was about how to help beginners in the artistic feel more at home. Drawing is always hard when you first start, you usually have no real creativity till you have the hang of the basics. (Of course) The three articles are all pretty strong and valid, but the first just was better. Each writer wrote on how to tips and how to make you more comfortable with your art. The last article was lacking in introduction. If I was to write a prompt on how to write for nervous beginners, I would first off talk about materials and technique.

I've reviewed an article which gives hints how you can analyze literary articles. I chose this topic because I thought it is very appropriate to what we do in this class. It is also a kind of reviewing but reviewing of a literary topic. I learnt an easy step-by-step method how to do it. The writer gives a mnemonic and in that way you can easily remember the method. I think that this is the best part of this article. A really clear, good and easy to remember guideline. Your only need to remember the word SWIFTT and you know what to do. The lower valued items are not as clear as this one. They give an explanation but it is sometimes a little complex and difficult to remember. If I need to write a response to the article, I would say that they should invent a mnemonic.

the growning population of lacrosse blog--jordan shreiner

THE GROWIGN POPULATION OF LACROSSE

article 1
i completily agree witht eh writers opinions on teh multifaced exposure of lacrosse.
lacrosse as a whole has grown phenomily sence the year 2000 but the publicity its getting isnt all good. the expansion in major league lacrosse has created a way fro people who maybe havent seenthe sport to enjoy it in a city near them. youth lacrosse has grown the fastest any sport has evr grown in the US. this is a well written article with accurate information and well thought out opions. unfortunatly, no never inforation came to mein this article but as a whole i'd say it was very well written.

article 2
in this article the author give s a good descirption of the game and events that regularly accur in it. the enthusiasmt he writer has for the game is very strong and use of descriptive words are very appropriate. Again, nothing learned from the article but i can tell where most mistakes wer made. the writer needs to give more opinions and show how he/she feels about the sport a little more vividly.

article 3
this article is by far the best article writen out of the three. alot of information that i didnt even know of was used to descibe the origins of the game and how it came to be the game we kow of today. this article explains how lacrosse has spred across the worls and effected the ones who have played it. the writer used mostly research information too asnwer the prompt adn made it flow together very well. i would really enjoy talking to theauthor more about how he/she came about finding out so muh about the game. this article could easily be used to give accurate information from eassays to tv broadcasts. well written, a joy to read.

Today I read articles on how to choose a college major. I learned that must students don't know what they want to do senior year of high school. In the best essay the writer was very blunt and created a serious mood to notify you how they felt about the situation. For the essays that weren't the best they were poorly organized. If I were to write a response to the prompt I would have made my audience the students , so it would encourage them to find something to major in, In college.
