Stumble-Rashawndra -Birds & other shizz :)

http:////www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2sdryK/copybot.wordpress.com/2009/04/07/the-50-most-interesting-articles-on-wikipedia
This blog was interesting because it made me realize birds can be smart too. I personally would not think they would be intellect enough to think of such a thing. I mean come on...putting your body against something to save your chickees, a little bird? Sources cited fine. I would ask the writer how did they find such a story like this one. I would recommend this article to those who believe in the abnormal of things happening with animals.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1upXOa/www.shambles.net/worldclock/worldclock.swf/
So I press the stumble button and it lands on this world clock. How so not interesting, like I could really could care less. Not much interest in this stumble is the interest part. No Sources cited. My question, who would want to stumble about a clock. If you love time than this is the stumble site for you. Though the only cool thing about this clock is not like you can buy it in stores, apparently online only.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2sdryK/copybot.wordpress.com/2009/04/07/the-50-most-interesting-articles-on-wikipedia//
Ok so this site is not as boring as the one above, but it could use some improvements. I could also really care less about the best sites in wikipedia. Interesting maybe, but not interesting enough. If you like wikipedia than this site is all for you. Sources cited well. I would ask how did they come up with the different cites to be the best on wiki.

http://quigleyscabinet.blogspot.com/2009/09/animal-mummies.html I thought this site was interesting because it shows you what animal mummies look like. I would recommend this site to a classmate because if they had an interest in animal biology. no sources cited. How did they discover these animal mummies and where did they find them.

http://www.grguy.net/ This site was intersting to me because it shows how different animals look in different areas of the world., If that classmate had an interest in animals or photography. No sources cited. Is this photographer film or digital?

http://www.ezzal.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/two-birds.jpg Its interesting because its two birds sitting on a tree branch. I would recommend this site to a classmate if they were intersting in nature. No sources cited, How long did it take to get this shot?

An 2 year old tiger named tanvir, was scared to get down off top of a new 15ft (5m) activity tower at a North Somerset zoo after climbing it for the first time. when I read about what happen to the little tiger that was scared to get down i was shock that, that could happen to a tiger. they suppose to be fearless but i guess it does not matter who you are or what you do humans or animals get scared. you just have over come it. I think people in my class should read this is because they need to know the most fearless thing can be scared.

From the reflections in the water and the type of fish in the water, i would have to say that this is probably an man made pond for goldfish. The picture is beautiful and if you look closely you would be able to see other images reflecting off of the water. I can see people walk by in their colorful clothes, orange leaves that have probably fallen from a nearby tree and i also see an old man gazing into the water at the fish, this is more than just a picture it is surely a great piece of mosaic art. http://www.antilimit.com/

Wow, is this the future or what.
This picture looks like something out of an exciting science fiction movie. It looks as if there is a huge city extending forward inside some sort of protective tube. The laws of gravity seem to be useless as water is not sitting level with the ground, but it is sitting sideways, running upwards in the tube.
I would have to say that this image of the future may look cool, but I believe that in reality it wouldn't be a really nice place to live, there are a lack of trees, there couldn't be fish in the water and i love fish and there is no fresh oxygen flowing inside this place, there is probably filtered oxygen and everyone knows that filtered oxygen is bad for your health.

Love is a very stong word to most people, many belive this single word dose a lot of justice when it comes to other individuals. To me, I think its just another over rated, overley used word that people used just to get what they want or make a false impression in the eyes of others.
Hate is what 75% of the world has in there hearts.
Love is not just a word, but it is an action word that needs to acted out to reveal the true sence of the word and the quicker people realise this the quicker the world will become a better place. The picture above shows how love is surrounded by hate, it also shows how love is not being overtaken by the hate surrounding it. This simply means that when there is love nothing can stop it no matter how much hate there is. When someone loves something or someone nothing will get in their way to prvent them from doing what they love or getting what the love, but at the same time love is a positive action word therefore when someone says they love something which is not positive, they are not using the word correctly and they are confused, most times the people who say they love negative things are the people with the most hate in there heart and they usually never realise it. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2094/2252867966_f050676e4d_b.jpg

Ryan N. Sparks - stumble number...

Ecological Children Activity and Education Center / 24H > architecture
I stumbled acrosse this structure in an architecture website, it mainly peaked an interest cause I like architecture but secoundly because it is labled as an education center, but at the same time the first sentece calles it a 6 star hotel so never the less i was a bit puzzled. turns out this is indeed a hotel but they also call it an education center becuase it has many activites for visitors mainly the children. these activities are based on educating the visitors on the aera of Koh Kood, an island in the Gulf of Thailand. Where this hotel/education center is located.

Without us on the Earth, What traces of us would linger? What would disappear?

This was a very inivative stumble mainly becuaes someone was thinking of the would if one day we all, as a human race just dissapeared. They thought of what would be around and what would be gone within days months or thousands of millions of years from now. I think the coolest fact was the last one, in that after everything is dead and gone and caroded away our television and radio waves that we send out every day will still be moving out into space FOREVER. one thing i took notice of too was that they relayed a lot of things to New York and its subways or strucktures witch makes me think the person or persons who made this live in New York.

Million to one apple is half red, half green

O my god how crazy is this to think that that is real. This apple is actually half red and half green, said to be a one and a million chance, a genetic mutation. It is not thought to be a bad apple or not good for you, but a golden apple something to look at as a cool crazy happening.

stumble upon- Heaven and Hell cake

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2hTtfx/www.saveur.com/article/Recipes/Heaven-and-Hell-Cake/

Something new and interesting about the article as that I've never heard of a heaven and hell cake, but it sure seems good to eat though. I would recommend people view this article because it would be a good aid in a cooking class. Sources not cited very well. How good does this cake taste.

Heaven and Hell CakePhoto: Andre Baranowskhttp://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#234XzJ/officeofstrategicinfluence.com/gates//
Something interesting and new about this article is that I have seen things in nature that look like the gates of hell.I would recommend this article for students because it maybe interesting to learn about some coming of Armageddon.Sources cited alrightwhat does this mean later on in the future.

Something interesting and new about this article article is that it is true not to meet people online, you could regret it very much, might end up getting hurt. i would recommend this article get viewed because it can be very helpful in one's safety. Sources cited ok. How might one regret finding someone online.

I think this stumble is interesting and new because I have never seen a house like this before. I would recommend this to someone who likes cool houses. This stumble is sited fairly well.

I think this stumble is interesting and new because the house looks very futuristic . I would recommend this stumble to someone who likes cool houses. This stumble is sited very well.

This stumble is interesting and new because it shows how small the earth is compared to other planets. I would recommend this stumble to someone who is interested in the universe. This stumble is not sited very well.

When i stumbled across this I noticed how cute the dogs were, and that's why i stopped. When i stopped i was wondering why the dog was tied up. I would show this to someone who was having a bad day and would say that at least its a better day then this puppy was having.

When i stumbled across this, what made me stop was the fact it was talking about dreams and why sometimes they are forgotten. What interested me into the article was that they said dreams are always remembered but are very faint to us when we wake up the next morning. I would show this article to one of my classmates who are interested in learning about dreams, and finding out new information about them.

When i stumbled across this i had to take a second look to see what it was doing. This made me laugh. I would show this to a classmate who was having a bad day and just needed a laugh. The page is not cited well.

The first URL i found was http://www.themoviebox.net/trailers/ and it is a website that gives you all the movies coming to theaters within the next five month it looks like. There are so many movies listed and I never realized how many movies come out within a short amount of time. There looks to be quite a few new movies that I would be interested in seeing. I recommend this site to anyone who is interested in seeing what new movies are coming to theaters soon. The website is directly from the website themoviebox.net so the sources are not sited on this page in particular.

The second website i stumbled upon was http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_3497147.html?menu=news.quirkies. It is a news article about a 22 year old girl who is selling herself online to help her friend who has just been diagnosed with cancer in her brain and spine cord so will not live much longer without immediate sugary. She is asking for 15,000 dollars and will give all the money to her friend for her disease. I would recommend this story anyone wanting to read about a true friend or to read an interesting story about friendship and selling yourself. The sources are cited as copyrighted by ananova in 2009. My question is how many friends would sell themselves to someone for marriage to save their friends life?

The third website I stumbled upon was about flooding in the south and showed about twenty different pictures that were very interesting. The URL washttp://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/09/flooding_in_the_southeast.html. Most of the pictures were taken in Georgia and i found it interesting of how a variety of pictures were taken to represent he floods, from people carrying their pets to the actual rise of water above the tree and house line. The source is The Boston Globe. And my question is how long ago did this happen?

4. The cites are sighted good on this page.
5. What other movies were similar to this one back then?

4. They are cited good on this page.
5. How much evidence does someone need to prove to them that evolution is in fact real?

Lauren Blake Proffitt- StumbleUpon- Beautiful

This really interesting to me because I feel that everyone needs to be reminded that they are beautiful. This is a genuine statement of love for everyone. Whoever put this up does not know who will be reading it but still wants them to know that they are beautiful. I recommend this site to anyone who has been feeling down or just not beautiful. It is sourced pretty well, I think. Bu ti do wonder who started this phenomena.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2zU8VE/www.designshard.com/video-tutorials/11-great-photoshop-photo-effects-tutorials// - The first thing I stumbled upon was 11 Great Photoshop Photo Effects. I have never really messed around with Photoshop before but I was really impressed by the capability photoshop has. It amazes me how you can take a simple picture or image and turn it into a whole new concept. Technology has taken a whole new leap with the use of images.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#234XzJ/officeofstrategicinfluence.com/gates// - The second thing I stumbled upon was different pictures of nature with a heading that read Natures Conception- The Gates of Hell. These images are incredible an amazing sight but also scary to think of the damages the disaster leaves after the incidences. Nature can be beautiful and horrific at the same time.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#8XXJ5S/villageofjoy.com/25-motivational-posters// - The third thing I stumbled upon was 25 Motivational Posters. I found some of these posters funny but also controversial. One thing I did feel was that they were not very motivational but I guess that all depends on how you are motivated. I for instant am not motivated by dumb funny pictures; things that personally motivate me are heroic acts from people, or deep touching speeches or quotes. I did not how ever find these posters very motivational.

Frazier, Stumble, Pictures

I stumble upon this first article, and I thought it was so funny. Who ever came up with this invention has a lot of time on thier hands. I would recommend this to any of my classmates who just need a good old laugh. The page was cited pretty good, and a question I would have is how long did it take for the inventor to come up with these ideas.

I stumble upon this amazing picture, and it made me think of how beautiful fall/autumn can be. This time of the season the leaves start to change different colors. It's like the combination of all these things that make the pretty color that we love and enjoy in the fall. I would recommend this to any of my classmates who love the outdoor and the changing of the seasons. I page was not cited at all. A question I would ask is where is this pictures taken at.

I came across this pictures, and was so shock that somebody came up with such an wonderful idea. There were a lot more art painting made with hands such as a bald eagle, lion, and many more. I would recommend this to any of my classmates who are really interested in the art field. The page was not cited very well, and a quesiton I would have is how long did it take to paint the dog hand painting.

poindexter stumble

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#17AdSg/pomonahistorical.org/12times.htm/topic:Mathematics

i thought this was an interesting stumble. the lady in the picture was able to fold a sheet of paper 12 times. its interesting because most people can not fold a sheet of paper more then 7 or 9 times.i have tried and it does not work. she did this by finding the exact equations that will allow you to fold a sheet of paper more then seven or eight times.
i have seen some weird wedding before but i think this is the most unique wedding entrance i ever seen..it was so funny just seeing every dance and how they choreographed it. its different and i think its interesting.
this stumble is kind of creeping but interesting to. its creepy because of how it looks and what they call it. they called this creature Smeagol which was the name of a hobbit from the lord of the rings. f anyone have seen this movie the pictures that are show on this website do remind you of this creature. and its so weird because it is a fictional character. it was found in Cerro Azul, Panama, by for 14- 16 year old boys that was playing by the water. i thought this was an interesting blog because just when you thought you knew everything that's on this earth, there is always something new that appears.

Stumble Upon ;; Katey Medlin

Natures Conception
I liked this one because all the pictures are really amazing. Its amazing moments caught on camera. I would like to see something like that in my life time. I think anyone who wants to see something amazing should look at this link. Its not really cited. My questions about the pictures are, how are you able to catch something like that on tape.

The 10 Most Disturbing Books of All time
This is interesting because it has a list of all the books with the cover of the book and a summary of the book. I like this because I would like to read some of these books just to see how good they really are. Any one who likes to read would enjoy looking over this. I believe its cited really well, because it has everything about the book on there. My question is why are these the most disturbing out of everything.

Parking Garage
I found this interesting because its not something that you would see in every day parking garage. I would like to see something like this my self. I think that it would be very interesting to get in the right angel and read all of the words. This project won several international design awards. Its not really cited. And my question is who had the idea to do this and how did they manage to get all the letters in the right angel to say what it says.

Gooding-Stumble-Alarm Clocks

_3713-puzzle-alarm-clock.jpghttp://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1iGmrz/www.uberreview.com/2006/03/top-ten-most-annoying-alarm-clocks.htm//

Everyone hates getting up in the morning. I know I do. So when your alarm goes off for that 8 o'clock class, you probably hit the snooze button a couple of times. Well not with these alarm clocks. These 10 alarm clocks have been rated the most annoying at there. And after reading the description I have to agree. It was really interesting to see some of these alarm clocks and read how they worked. I never realized how many different types of alarm clocks and how extreme some people make them to be able to get up in the morning. I would recommend this stumble to any classmate who is looking for a new alarm clock and wants one that will defiantly get them up in the morning. This is also good for any classmate who wants to come up with their own business idea and thinks they have a good idea for a new alarm clock. This site is cited a little but not a lot. I think a question I would have to ask would be; How did you come up with this alarm clock idea? I think that if I did any further research it would be to purchase some of these alarm clock and see which one did the best to wake me up.

Garbage bags+subway air= art? I wouldn't have thought so either until I watched this stumble video. Joshua Harris creates real inflatable art using just tape garbage bags and the air created by subways. I loved watching this video and seeing how it worked. It was amazing to me how he was able to use the simplest of things and make living, moving, and ordinary art. I think what I liked the most was how it just looked like ordinary trash but when the subway went by the "trash" came to life. I think that any classmate who loves to see really easy to do and cool art would love this page. I also believe that any classmate who just likes to see really cool videos would love this. The site is not really cited. I think my one question would be; How did you come up with the idea for this art?

I don't know about you but I personally have a bittersweet feeling about storms. I love to watch them and they are really beautiful, but I also hate to be stuck in them and I feel like a tree will fall on my house any moment. This stumble was really intresting to me becuase I've never seen storms like this. They are both terrifing and amazing at the same time. I hope I never have to see storms like this but if I do I know i will try to get as many picture of them as I can. I think that any classmate who is interesting in weather or just wants to see some picture of mother natures fury, then this would be the stumble for them. The site is cited a little. I think my question would be; Where did these storms happen?

I stumbled across this sink design and thought it is very unique. It is new technology but they use the design from a 400 million year old species, cephalopods. It is crazy how they take the designs of so long ago and turn it into something useful now. I would recommend this site to new interior decors interested in using unique designs. The sources are not given for this site, the maker is unknown. This sink is very nice and unique however is seems to take up way to much space. Would this sink design cause an excessive use of water?

http://interesting-world.info/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/mother-nature-19.jpg
I came across this picture. I look at it as the perfect “fall” photo. This is an epic change in nature that is creative in its own way. What is interesting to me about this is how perfect things can occur in nature. I would recommend this to a class mate that loves nature as much as I do and the color of sun fire orange. This spectacular photo was taken by an unknown photographer. One question I have is why do the actual leaves change colors?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/6229243/Million-to-one-apple-is-half-red-half-green.html
You do not hear of one in a million happening very often, but with this apple it did. This apple genetically mutated to produce one half green and a perfect line down the middle to separate it from the other red half. This occurred in Ken Morrish’s garden that he has been maintaining for 45 years. A question I have is why haven’t farmers used this mutation to create this apple all the time as a delicious treat?

Lauren Blake Proffitt- StumbleUpon- How to be a Successful Evil Overlord

I find this site interesting because it is very true. Every flaw that an evil overlord has ever made is listed here. I recognize many of these flaws from famous movies. I recommend this site to any nerd looking for a good laugh and possibly anyone who is looking to be an evil overlord. There are on sources cited. How heartless would someone have to be to actually follow these instructions?

Lauren Blake Proffitt- StumbleUpon- College Paper

I found this article rather interesting because I have been dealing with something similar to this scenario all day. I have been putting off homework for hours now. My room mate has even called me out on it a couple of times. I recommend this site to anyone who is procrastinating their homework like I am. It made me finally look things in the eye and get started. There are no sources cited. Is there any cure for procrastination?

Helium Blog Emily Guenthner 9-30

The topic of the essays that I read was Hospital errors: What the patient doesn't know might hurt. I learned that errors happen very often in hospitals across the nation but nothing happens because the public is kept in the dark. They do this for one reason and one reason only if the public knew of all the errors they would be less likely to go to the hospital and then hospitals would lose millions of dollars. The best essay that I read had a lot of things going for it; there were loads of clear cut facts and personal experience. The overall flow of the essay was great easy to read and understand. The worst essay that I read had several problems that I noticed first a for most was the flow, I had the hardest time reading through this essay, the ideas were scattered and poorly put together. If I was going to write an essay on this topic, I would be sure to have the flow of the essay smooth and understandable. I would give the facts but still keep a balance of firsthand knowledge.

Stumble Emily Guenthner 9-26

I stumbled upon these wonderful photographs of these horses that were made from drift wood, that this lady would find on the beach. I found this to be interesting, because it takes a lot of time and effort to create these fine works of art. I would recommend this website to any of my class mates who love horses. I feel that they would really enjoy this. The sources are sited okay on this page, I mean they could be better. I only want to know, Why someone would take drift wood to make an art piece?
This page that I stumbled upon is incredible I could not even believe what I was watching. It was this mind blowing Mario level. I mean wow, the best part of all was the fact that you just had to watch it happen, you didn't even need to play. I think that any of my nerdy class mates would enjoy this page or anyone who likes Mario. The sources were poorly sited on this page, you need to pout in a lot of effort to find them. I want to know if this is a real level in a Mario game or just a fake one?
The page that I did a stumble on, was a page that had a timeline of all of the historical events that had happened throughout the years. I think that this is really cool and interesting at the same time. I feel that anyone of my class mates would enjoy looking up events that happened throughout history. I could find the sources very easily on this page. I wonder if all of these events really happened or if they were just added in?
