Melvin-Stumble-Music Game

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#AbfGEu/www.avenueq.com//

As a performing art major, I am a Broadway nerd. Avenue Q is a hilarious musical about society but it is all played by puppets. This website tells you everything you need to know about the show, its cast, and how to get tickets. Unfortunately, Avenue Q is closing on Broadway this Sunday; the last performance will be at 7pm. The show is still performing in London. I would like to know where else this show will be preformed and how to purchase the rights to perform the play at a school or community theater.

This website is so much fun! It is a game where you fill in the missing words from song titles. There are two versions of the game, 80’s music and 90’s music. This game is really just a fun way to pass the time and test your knowledge of music. Once you submit your answers for scoring it gives you the correct answers, but it does not always give you the title and name of the artist. Apparently, I do not know any music from the 90’s, I only got one answer right. I would like to know the names and artist of all the songs. I would also like to maybe create a few different games that focus on different genres of music.

Teens, this site will answer everything you will ever want to know. All the embarrassing questions that you do not want to ask your parents or an adult, this website has the answers. Like the website says, this should not take the place of talking to an adult or doctor about serious issues. I would recommend this website to any young adult that would like answers to their questions. The website is funded by Atlantic Health and has won many awards for the work that it has done to help teens. I would like to know if North Carolina has a similar website so we can support it locally.

Dance like no one is watching

The article I read is called “dance like no one is watching”. I like the article and I want to share it with my classmates because it says that the time to be happy is right now! We can’t wait until something happened to be happy. Sometimes in our life we say stuff like “when I get married I will be happy” or “when I graduate I will be happy”, but we don’t have time enough to be just waiting for something to happen. We need to dance like no one is watching and enjoy our life now, because tomorrow can be too late to do it. I think this should be the thought for all of us. “There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way”.

Helium #2:Study Habits-Bradley King

How many students have trouble studying? I would say about all of us do. Well I found this site on Helium that gives some really good pointers and tips about how to study. I reviewed a few essays about study habits and time management. From reading this article I learned that the reason students have trouble making themselves study is because your learning doesn't mean anything to you. And when the material becomes boring you don't want to look at it till the night before the test. The best essay I read was great, the author gave very specific reasons why it is hard to make yourself study. And then would give you very useful tips to solve each reason. For the lesser essays the author never got to the point about how to develop good study habits and time management skills. The author mainly wrote about what made studying hard for he/she. If I were going to write an essay on this prompt I would start out by stating some of the problems that I face when trying to study, and try to give solutions to all of them. I would also try to give some ideas on ways to manage your time. Because I know its hard. Take me for instance I have class everyday, a work study job, and I am on the track team. So even if you didn't mind studying you may just have problems find time to.
