Well if i was in a relationship i don't think it would work out for me. The reason why is because once you are a cheater always will be a cheater. And if somebody cheats on me i feel like that person really don't care about me and don't love me. So for me i will just end the relationship. But you know some people can work it out, but i can't. Cheating can change a lot of things in a relationship, some of the things it can change is trust and also how you feel about that person. In a relationship you need to be honesty and trust it for it to work out. If you cheat on someone you could have broken that person heart. You should never cheat on anyone because that is a hurtful feeling. Also if you know that you are a cheater i mean why be with that person and you know that you are going to cheat, i mean that is not good. Now if you cheat on someone while you are married i think you should get a divorce because that is so not cool to cheat on someone while you are married. Cheating is not good at all. I learned many things from reading this article it gave me good information and also facts. The other ones didn't give me enough information at all. Thanksgiving- secret to enjoy family hoildays: In this article ii said, that the main word in this article is family. Family can also mean many different things. The reason why people have thanksgiving is so that the family can come togther and have a great time. So that everyone can come and get alone with eachother. When familys come togther on hoildays it can be a very happy time and sometimes it can be sad, but it depends. Thanksgivng is just a time to spend time with your family so you can go back and tell your friends how great it was. You can also have a great time and if you do the memory will last forever and you will never forget that day. The first link I found was a comic that shows why macs are easier to use for those not computer savy. Trying to teach someone who doesnt know how to use a computer what to do on a pc can be very annoying since microsoft doesnt know how to make a straight forward program to use. Or atleast the last time they attempted to make an easy to use program they made windows vista. I want to post this comic but I have a better picture for later on in this post.

The door involved has a sign saying "This door is Alarmed" and under that there is a handmade sign asking "what startled it". its a simple thing but quite funny in the right situation. Anyway it was an interesting find to watch someone who learned to climb by imitating monkeys climbing buildings and other man made objects. This article I stumbled upon was a “Flu Alert: Fear of a hand sanitizer shortage.” Jennifer Harper wrote it. She says that “a new swine flu culture is descending on America and it’s got us all squealing.” Anglicans fear that getting the vaccine and, alternatively, not getting the vaccine. The Anglicans depend on hand sanitizers to stay clean but the only way to keep germs and bacteria away is to thorley wash your hands and than you can apply hand sanitizer. The Anglicans need to wash there hands and than use the hand sanitizer. You do not need to stop giving people handshakes you just need to wash your hands and carry hand sanitizer with you so when you get done with a handshake put the sanitizer on your hands to kill the germs. I think people are over reacting about the swine flu because yes you may get it and yes you may die but it is not any worse than what getting the flu is. Just take the proper precaution and you will be just fine. But being worried about running out of hand sanitizer is not a big deal because washing your hands is more effective than hand sanitizer. I encourage everyone to protect himself or herself and take precautions and wash there hands frequently.

As the older trees get older there fruit begins to get smaller. It is amazing what you can discover. People thought that this apple had died off 90 years ago but this garden changed all that. He found a Norfolk apple in his garden and now made headlines in Norfolk. Dr. Kevin Browne was a retired GP but now he takes on the old orchard and walled garden in North Creake in north Norfolk. Dr. Browne has grown more than 50 varieties of apples in his orchard over the last 25 years but nothing like the rare Norfolk Apple. To me this apple looks like a “yellow apple” so I am not sure what is so amazing about it other than it is a rare apple that was thought to have died away 90 years ago. I guess if I lived in Norfolk I would have a different perspective on this apple.

The first promt I looked at was about health & Fitness. The main focuse was the immune system. The immune system is the bodies defense system which fights off bateria and illnesses that try to enter the body on a daily basis. The author of this promt recieved a five star rating. I thing that the author really explained her topic, she was enthusiastic and coordinated her words beautifully. though she was rated five stars, i feel that the author could have been more specific as to who her audience was. She never gave any indication that she was talking to a specific set of people and that is very important. If I had to write about this topic I would probably write it in a similar fashion to how the writer wrote hers'. she was direct and powerful. I would do a better job of identifying my audience to make the promt complete. The second blog I read was about was about ways you could boost you immune system. The author of this promt was not a very good author. he did not get a rating and i could not understand what he was saying. The organization of this promt was very poor and he was not clare about what he was saying. howerver he did metion a few ways to boost your immune system but the overall promt was very unorganized. The last promt i read was very organized and stated who the audienc were. They stated the facts and opinions of the topic and used used them to back up their main points. However, the author did not use many transitional words therefore her writing did not have a good flow to it. I would use more transitional words to link the sentences together, once that is done i believe this promt would be a five star rating.

When walking around a college campus just before break, i asked what people are looking to most forward to. The main answer that i got was the home cooking. people have found that the cafeteria food up here is good, but it is nothing like what you get while you are at home. I have found that no matter the size of the person the food is always the first thing on the mind. so while everyone is on break get your parents to make you lots of food, and make sure to bring it back to your dorms.

Reading the blogs and doing stumble I have come to known that this was not an easy process. You have to mentally help yourself remember that this is not just free writing but a writing process where you have to mentally think about your writing and the elements of it. This is not like research papers where you have to write pages and pages of things. It is a blog where you can contemplate on you feelings.



Stumbles like Bradley King is very interesting. I have noticed that everyone has blog about this person and so will I. He has very key points that keeps the audience in tact with being personal with his writings. I also noticed he writes a lot about sports which is an interest that people can take in.

Doing blog has helped me in so many ways. Even though we all tend to write about the same stumbles, we all have different view points of the topic and that is the interesting thing about each of the students.

Gooding-Helium-Dogs and children

The topic I chose for my Helium this week was: Dogs and Children: What to consider when selecting a dog breed. I learned some new things while reading this Helium. I learned that it depends on how big your children are to decide what type of dog that you should consider getting. For example if you have a young child then I golden retriever is most likely the best bet since it does very well with children. But when your children get older you can get different dogs. Such as German Shepherd, Dobermans, and toy breeds. As I read the best essay I saw that the author knew what he was talking about. He had all of his facts and even knew some of the special characteristics to some of the breeds, not just their names. He also put all of his writing into three main points, which made it easier for anybody to read this essay. The author also gave you good advice about what to do before making your final decision. Overall I think that this essay was very well written and had good key facts. The middle essay was pretty good. He has some of the good main points that the first essay had but what I didn't like was that he only pointed out a couple of breeds when he should not have mentioned a lot at all to keep the potential owner's mind open to all breeds. Also he made the black lab seem like a bad dog. All his dog needs is some training and not punishment. I feel like the essay overall was good but I think he should not have mentioned as many breeds as he did. The lesser essay it started off on a completely different topic than the prompt was. This author started off talking about the nature vs. nurture argument. I really think that he could have done without that. It just seemed to throw off his entire essay for me. This essay did have some good points but I feel like it could have had some more detail and better flow from paragraph to paragraph. I think that if I was to write this essay myself I would use some of the main points that the other essays used. I would, however, not mention that many dog breeds. I feel like if you mention to man breeds you might make the reader biased to some breeds. That would not be good. Every breed deserves an equal chance at a good home.

The prompt I review was coaching youth soccer- Tips on successful strategies. I learned that players have to work hard on their supporting skills, guessing the next move as quick as possible. Lots of explination and examples. A little bit more info needed to better understand the article. I approach the prompt by explaining it more, giving more info, and more elaboration. No citations.

I find that the baby bat is interesting because of how small the baby bat is, and how it was able to survive a fall from it's nest without being hurt. The bat has actually survived the fall, something new that I haver rarely heard of a bat surviving a fall from it's nest. I would recommend this article to students because it teaches the rarity of bats surviving a fall from a nest. How is the bat able to survive from falling from it's nest and being taken care of humans.

I read over a great deal of wonderful blogs. However there were a couple that I picked as the best ones. I thought Kody Kuhns blog on the Lights on Earth photographed from space was quite interesting. I wonder what the lights from Earth would look like around Christmas time.

Another blog that I found interesting was Bradley Kings. I noticed that he likes to go really in depth than the usual writings of how others may blog. Which is this not so thought out blog than can be projected right.

If it were not for blogging than I would have to say I would not be a more creative writer than I am now. When you first star blogging you have this though of how will I ever do something that will help me be a much better writer when I do not even want to do this writing process. So thank you Ms. Shaffner for this opportunity. As a teacher you could have been not so nice with letting everyone do the same blog without docking points from them.

On that note, everyone doing the same blog is at times differently. Such as Tyricee Pelzer and Will Lampley, they both did a stumble on the heaven and hell cake article but both had different valuable tactics on what they thought of the topic. You may have the same stumble but your thoughts on them is just as creative as the next so that is something we may have to keep in mind.

This picture is crazy. I think i would have wet my wetsuit if i was this guy. I did not like this stumble I loved it. I personally love music and always will hear some lyrics and have no idea what the name of the song is or who sings it. like on the radio when you hear that new song and the radio like a bunch of jerks just goes onto the next song without giving you the pleasure of knowing the name of it. This site allows you to solve that problem by typing in those lyrics it will find you all the songs that have those lyrics. it will give you the artist, the name of the song and even the album.

Journal Article Nikki Calhoun

The journal article was a book review someone did of the book, The Satanism Scare. The top of the page says "Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion". This book I am thinking came from this journal or this is where the author had put their article to be accessed. I accessed it through JSTOR. The article's name was Book Review and I learned somethings I did not know about Satanism. I did not know that there were a lot of different groups of anti-cults in the United States. They had page numbers at the top of the article to show where they got some of their information from. The ideas were communicated clearly because even though I had never read this article before, I understood what they was trying to tell the reader and this book. If I was writing an article about this topic, I would use this article as a reference because it tells a lot of stuff in detail and I understand what the author of this article is trying to say. E.Jones Journal Article Soccer

1. The article name is Hard Return and is an article from sports illustrated about Hope Solo and her problems with the U.S. National team and fight back to the team after disrespecting her coach and team mates. I found this article by using NC Live and researching articles that had to do with women's soccer then looking through all of the results. This article made me think of how precious your teammates thoughts are about you. Without respect for each other on the team it makes it very difficult for the team to properly function and understand each other. The author used personal quotes from all parties discussed in the article which very much so backed up the entire article. This article was very organized and easy to follow, because I was not aware of the issues on the team before the World Cup, the article explained the whole situation from he start so I could completely understand it then hear the news about it. The writing ability of this author I found to be pretty high because it did use all components of an essay we have discussed in class, like hook,purpose,body, transitions, introduction and conclusion. If I were using this article as the topic for my paper I would use some of the quotes by Solo's teammates and herself about the situation and how she was able to come up from this situation. If I were writing about this possible topics would be the difference between men's and women soccer, can a team function if there are some problems off the field and sports team conflicts. These topics would be easily talked about using this article.
