Upon pressing the ever so mysterious stumble button for the first time, I come across artist’s using their unique ability in an unusual place. Most artists’ post their art work in a gallery, museum and sell their art for oodles of money. But! These unique individuals choose to share their artwork where everyone can see and admire. I myself admire these artists’ for their dedication to their art. They are making the streets that are usually plain and same grey vibrant and alive with color and jaw dropping art.
On this web site, the citations are of the best quality. On other hand, the web site does give credit to an author of the photo taker, not of the artist in the photo’s sadly. Anyone who would even be interested in this sort of topic would whole heartedly agree with me that the artist should have some sort of recognition.
http://pascalcampion.com/door.swf
I stumbled for almost two hours, before I came across the most adorable animation ever. There are no citations, or any type of information on the website, just this tiny animation of a man wanting to get inside a door that fights with him. This interests me because I like how the artist was not afraid to try and be creative. I recommend this to other people who want to see something cute.

I decided for my last stumble selection to go above the rest, and talk about a drunken sign. I find the picture of a stick man walking drunk very humorous, and it shows that today in our nation or world for that matter, that we are able to have some fun with road signs. Citations on this page are quite decent! I do believe the people w ho made the sign are most likely the handy work of Americas finest.

Singing Camels
This was interesting because I've never seen singins camels before. It was both funny and entertaining. Back in high school I was in the choir and I loved to sing and hear people sing and this really brought back many memories. I would reccomend this page to a classmate if they are interested in animation and music. The sources aren't cited in this page but its still worth while viewing and enjoying. The question that comes across my mind is could've there been another song or melody that would've made the animation funnier.

Kat Von D
I stumbled upon Kat Von D's tattoos. This interests me because I too am plaznning to get a tattoo. She is a real inspiration and her artwork has plenty say say about herself. I personally like the tattoo on her back that saids "Mi Vida" which means my life. Those two words have a very strong meaning. I would reccomend this page to a classmate that loves tattoos and is personally is trying to get a meaningful symbol on they body. The sources are cited on this page, Prick Magazine. My question to the bloggers is do theses tattoos have more meaning to you than just a simple art work ?

I hate space invaders. while stumbling upon this game i died way to quickly and became very annoyed and yelled loudly. this, in turn made my room mate ryan sparks angry so now everybody around me was just as annoid as i was at this paticular game. this game also happens to be the first video game before pinball machines. this may be why i was so inraged.

videogame music archive was a very interesting tool i enjoyed using because i was able to also find a program that allowed em to mix my own music. i used popular music from the present and mixed it with video game music from the past and cameup with some really cool songs. this was a fun website i will probably visit again simply for the the original beats and music.
Westen Taylor's Thoughts
Today I stumbled upon these photos of these truly amazing chalk murals done by this guy they call the sidewalk chalk guy (I know, original). his art literally jumps off the pavement at you because it is done with such genius. The illusion is truly deceiving and would have me trying to jump in his chalk pool. The works range from wacky and lighthearted to some that look like Renaissance mosaics. These more serious are kind of thought provoking as well as being beautiful. One depicts tormented souls trying to escape through the sidewalk, reminding me forcibly of depictions Hades. Fortunately the others are not so grim. One of the more fun ones is of a sea lion balancing a candy bar on his nose, really makes you want to grab it.
This guy has not only great talent but equally great courage to go out there in the busy streets and put his work out for everyone to see. When asked why he does he simply replies, "I think art should be out for everyone to enjoy not cooped up in some museum." And I agree; imagine how beautiful our world would be if we just put all the art out there for everyone to see. The artist would probably have a hard time making a living but we could figure something out. See the amazing chalk art for your self.

Rat Eating Plants!
I came across an extremely interesting if not totally disturbing article about a plant found in the Philippines that eats rats. Apparently this bell shape plant attracts its fury victim with a secretion that smells mighty yummy, when the rat scurries in to munch down it is trapped by the secretion and slowly digested alive by the enzymes produced by the plant. I need to get one of these for my backyard because my lazy cat doesn't catch a thing
The plant was discovered on Mount Victoria by a team of British Botanists led by Stewart McPherson and Alastair Robinson. The plant is the largest of pitchers, or bell shaped plants, and probably the largest meat eating shrub. This rat does not look happy but neither would I if was being slowly digested alive by some crazy plant.

Our Amazing Reading Mind
Apparently our minds don't need all the letters in a word to be in the right for us to read it. A study has been done at the Cambridge University that proves the human mind can read words even when they are jumbled as long as the first and last letters are in the right place. It trips you out at first by after looking at the words for a second you realize that you can read them perfectly well. The article goes on to explain that the mind has this amazing power because it does not every single letter individually but the words as a whole. This goes to show amazing our minds truly are. They are our single most powerful and valuable tool. Just think about all the crazy tricks our mind can do that we don't even know about yet. They say we only ten percent of that gray squishy thing, imagine when we tap into the other 90%. I won't need my phone to call you anymore I'll just send you a brain wave. Check this phenomenon out for yourself.

Nutrition and Health
According to Shelley Narula, a good nutrition, besides preventing the risk of so many diseases, can improve your brain function. The brain uses carbohydrates for energy and omega-3 fatty acids to produce its cells structure but these structures can be damaged by free-radicals available in the environment. So antioxidant nutrients like A, C and E vitamins are essential to keep the brain working well and saving people from mental confusion, dizziness and convulsion in severe cases.
Nowadays, people are busy and it ruins a lot of their nutrition once that they don’t have enough time to eat only healthy food. This way, people are eating more fast foods and products created in labs which lose a lot of nutrients in that process.
We all have to find a balance for our nutrition. To eat healthy doesn’t mean that you can not eat everything. You can, but we have to find balance. And more importantly, we have to start working on it in our childhood. That is when our body is being formed. If we only start this process when we are adults it will be much harder because we will have to repair all the damage caused for years.

An Inpiration By Jamara Cook
I stumbled upon an inspirational graffiti picture of Obama. The picture has a quote that states "I am asking you not to believe in my ability to bring about real change in Washington. I'm asking you to believe in yours." I feel in this quote he is saying that he can not do it alone. In order to get real change he will need to American people to take a stand. Obama is saying i have the power to make a change, but i need the help and support of my country to do so. He want the country to succeed and climb out of the hole we are in now. My fellow students should take a good look at this picture and see what they get out of it. Will your oppion be the same as mine? Or will they see something different?

The short essay was about two students taking it upon themselves to stop bullying at their school. They felt that everyone had the right to wear what they wanted and no one should define their character from their appeal. The two boy took a leadership role in helping someone become a victim of bullying. What they did is got the whole school involved to make a difference and stand up for what they believe is right. I would advise my peers to read this short story because there's a message inside. The message is that it's ok to step up and help someone in need. My question to all is would you be the one to help out in any situation that does not involve you?

My first two entries were about people who has made a difference in some body's life so i decide to do this on a lighter note. I don't know what the animal is but it is getting a belly rube. The animal is so happy when the person is rubbing its belly. Its eyes light up like a Christmas tree and it has a little smile on its face. That just show that every creature can enjoy the simple thing in life. The little pleasures make a difference. I would like others to look at this video because it is so cute! My question to all is does the simple things in life matter to you? Or do you take it for granted?

I heard of a lot of females rapper before, but not Roxanne's revenge. Back in the days it was said that she sold 250,000 copies in New York City alone. She was actually hip-hop first female rapper. The only reason she don't share the same spotlight as many other females artists is because she stop rapping. She stop rapping because of the lying, cheating of her of her money and cause of a broken heart. It been said that; everything happen for a reason. you may not see it at the time but it does. when she stop rapping want to school. The music label had to pay for schooling cause that was in the sign contact. At the end of everything she was able to get her PH.D in psychology. In my opinion I think my classmates need to read this because it show that you can outcome anything that is in your way.

This article was interesting to me because I like astronomy and like to learn stuff about the stars and space. The article mentions that scientists have found another galaxy beyond our own that has a black hole that is 100 million times the mass of our sun. Also one philosopher had said that the black hole doesn't suck things in but it pushes them out. That's something I learned from this article. I would recommend this site for my classmates because it tells us partially that there are other galaxies out there and gives us a little bit of information so we could know more then just about our own galaxy. The sources are at the bottom of the page and sited to where you know where they got the information from at least. My question to scientists is what is on the other side of the black holes in space? The only problem with my question is no one has been able to go out and find out and come back. Black holes that I have found out just lead to the abyss.

http://www.physorg.com/newman/gfx/news/2-venus.jpg
I liked this small article about Venus because as I mentioned before I like astronomy. This one was interesting because scientists are still confused about what happened on the planets' surface to make the spot visible to astronomers. Some think it could be from a meteor collision and others think it could be from a series of other events. This is a good short article to read if you don't like to read a whole lot and if you like to learn about the planets. The source is listed at the beginning of the article, well the website it first came from. Why couldn't they just send a robot to Venus like they did to Mars to find out what is causing the spot to expand and also find out what the spot is contained of?

This article was interesting to me because I think most of it is true. Everyone expects a lot from teens. What I learned was apparently the expectations are more for girls rather than guys. I would recommend this to not only a classmate but also to a teacher or parent. Most teens feel overstressed and trying to reach parents or teachers expectations have a big part of the students' thoughts and mental preperation. The sites were cited pretty good on this article. There were no pictures on it. My question about this topic is why are the expectiations so high for teens and young adults?
Teacher Blogs Too!
My first stumble this week was about the Kakapo parrots, a parrot that is a lot like the kea parrot, if I remember correctly from my ornithology class with our own Dr. Skeate. At least these birds are from the same country as keas (New Zealand) and are also flightless as well. Keas are like raccoons of the bird world. I heard a story about one of these parrots getting into someone's backpack, eating a candy bar and dying. Since the parrots are rare, this was not good news for the owner of the backpack! If I wanted to find out more about Kakapos, the site has a "news and links" section; if I wanted to use the information in a paper, though, I would site the webpage because they are claiming the information as their own.
I stumbled upon Life Explained next. Any feminist would have a research paper of more than twenty pages created upon this webpage alone. My own contention with the humor of "man=simple" and "woman=complex" is that our culture imposes this attitude upon us. Perhaps this is how it looks on the outside, but I know that the inside of both machines are just as complex as the other.
My third stumble unearthed Planets, no pun intended. This kind of webpage always excites me because it involves interactive learning. The main point of the site was to demonstrate that the rotations of planets looks very different to us on earth than it does on the solar system model that places the sun at the center. From our earth-centric point-of-view, the path of the planets takes on a spirograph motion, with spirals of motion called Retrograde Motion. I also learned that the distance between the sun and the earth is called an Astronomical Unit. I find that I'm always more likely to remember information that is presented to me in an interactive way like this. What I wish to know now is what spirographic pattern do the other planets make around us? I would like a poster of the patterns they all create. I'm pretty sure this would be cited as an original source because the person who created the site must have created the interactive tutorial as well.

2.The fact that there was a picture for everything you could think of on why god made pets was very cute and funny at the same time.
3.I would recommend it to a class mate to make them laugh.
4.There is no sources cited on the page.
5.My question would be, how they got the animals to take the pictures?
1.http://www.linkydinky.com/PetOwnersAway.shtml
2. What was interesting about this stumble was how all the animals got cought doing all of those things.
3.I would recomment it to a classmate just to put a smile on there face.
4.there is nothing cited on this page
5. My question would be how did the animals get into those positions

2.What was interesting was how we have store back in Charlotte that has the same type of shirts.
3. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a cute type of shirt.
4. Its cited by the t shirt company at the bottom of the page.
5.My question would be why are the shirts so cheap?

The first website I was brought to was “The Gates of Hell”. It was a really cool collection of pictures. They all dealt with the weather in one way or another and were all really crazy storms, tornados, or just things you don’t see every day. I have never seen anything like this. I think everyone should see this page because the pictures were amazing. None of the pictures are cited on the page and after going through all the pictures I was wondering how the people got a chance to take those pictures. I would love to research the way to take the pictures and who takes the jobs to go out in danger just to take them.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2BtOg9/n2.nabble.com/These-are-Some-Wicked-Nuns-td3520657.html/
The second website that came up was “These are Some Wicked Nuns ;)”. It was a funny short story. I think if anyone wants to get a quick laugh they should defiantly go to this page. The writer of this page either did not cite whoever wrote this or wrote it his or herself because there were no citations. I don’t really have any questions after viewing this page except who came up with the joke because it was really funny.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1NmBAF/www.rethinkingschools.org/just_fun/games/mapgame.html/
The last website I found was “Rethinking Schools”. It was a map of Africa and the Middle East and I had to label all the countries for a word bank I was given. It was very difficult and it took me about twenty minutes. I think everyone should go to this page to test their geographical knowledge. It might surprise some people on how little or much they know. As with the others this page had no citations on it, but I also do not think they were needed considering they could have made the map themselves. My only question for this site is why didn’t I know where all those countries were. It shocked me I barely knew any.

I found out that Americans are very stereotypical its kinda funny but sad in a way. I like this blog because most Americans if not all think we are number one and like to think the world revolves around America . I would recommend this to a classmate because you always need something to laugh at and laughing its good for your health. This article was not cited at all and this isn't good because if you wanted to find more articles like this you wouldn't know where to look or who to give credit to if you used it in a report . Do you think AMERICA is number 1?

This blog helped me to learn the different locations of other countries. I like this blog because you can learn and have fun at the same time. I would show this blog to a class mate if they needed a good way to study the different locations of other countries. There is not a real citation on the page but it does have a link to its original page which has been cited. Would you ever use this to help you study?

Stumble Upon week 1 - Courtney Sherrill
I stumbled upon this article and thought it was very interesting how two guys could make a point to the bullies about how wearing pink does not make you a homosexual. Its really good that there are those few who really care and stand up for the younger ones and help them in any way. The one question i wondered about is why do kids have to be so mean to one another. what has the world come to for this to all happen and someone be threatened to be beat up for wearing pink. These two boys did a great job and looks like they got the point across!
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#4wM1UR/www.snackaday.com/2007/12/24/can-you-find-optical-illusions-nice-pictures//
The second thing that I stumbled upon was this really cool website that had all these pictures that were optical illusions. It was really neat to look at them and see one thing and then another. The thing i want to know is how do they get the picture to look like that and for you to see more than one thing its very cool. I wished i were talented enough to do this. I really liked this one alot it was neat to look at.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1wwz3v/ljplus.ru/img4/e/x/extel3/080421_006.jpg/
The last thing I stumbled was a picture of this cute little dog asleep in a infant car seat fastened in. It is so adorrable and i love it i thought i was amzing how some people treat their animals like their kids. I only wonder how far people go and what all they do for and with their pets sometimes they go to far and get a little crazy but this picture is so precious.

stumble upon week 1
My first article I found interesting on stumble upon was a tutorial about how to paint an eye. It first caught my interest because I had taken a drawing class an learned how to draw an eye, so I wanted to know if it was any different to paint one. There are tricks to make an eye look realistic. For example a white circle in the pupil will make the eye look glossy for a more realistic approach.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#412zAp/img161.imageshack.us/img161/1421/goodtoseeyou7rl.jpg/
This picture is absolutely adorable! It makes me wonder how a wild carnivore can hug a human without attacking or seriously injuring him. It is like a miracle because it is the animals instinct to hunt and kill. Instead the tiger greets the man with a warm hug like an old friend. I believe animals, even those who seem like ferocious beasts, can have and control emotion just as humans can.
http://stumbleupon.com/s/#1qdrTd/refspace.com/quotes/s:0/
This stumble is very interesting because no matter who you are you will find at least one quote on this page you will agree with. I love quotes such as these by famous people because it shows that there is someone out there who understands you. Some of these quotes are also very inspiring. My favorite quote that I had read off this site was "You have enemies? Good. That means you have stood up for something, sometime in your life".
Stumbleupon Kwame Johnson
The first article I stumbled upon a interesting article entitle, "65 Things A Man Should Know About Style." I found this piece pretty cool because the tips included are pretty helpful. The tips are more like the Do's and Dont's of dressing for men. There are tips that are helpful like #2, "The shirt placket, the belt buckle, and the trouser fly should all line up." Then there are some tips that are irrelevant like #20, "By the way, this blue-shirt craze is getting really tiresome." Overall the article is decent. I personally would use the helpful tips much less recommend them to another. The only question that comes to mind might be Who wrote this? because the list has no author.

The next thing i stumbled upon was art by 2 French artists, Ivan Duval and Jean Sebastien Ides, who do cool art on one dollar bills. What cool about it is that they take the picture of George Washington and turn him in to different characters such as Batman, Ronald McDonald, even Jesus. These would be cool for artist that think outside the box and like to be abstract. The one thing I thought about was isn't this illegal? Something like defamation of federal property? Either way its still cool!!!!!! For more "dollar" art, click the pic above
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#3bHTYK/www.writerhymes.com/
The last stumble upon was a site that helps find rhyming words. Have you ever been writing a poem for class or etc. and you want it to rhyme but you cant find a word that has nothing to rhyme with it? Well here is a site that with a click of the mouse you find a word that rhymes wit it. I would find this helpful for poets or maybe even rappers who are trying to rhyme but its not comming out

I find this interesting because Its crazy how animals can take care of each other. The dog is basically the orangutans pet which is funny. This is new to me because I have never seen something like this. I would recommend classmates look at this because it is something very interesting that one doesn't see everyday. However, the source isn't cited very well. I would look into this topic more by using google to see if I could find any other animals taking care of each other.

The picture is actually cited great. I would look into this topic more by actually reading the article that the picture was originally with.

I thought the art in this stumble was very interesting because it was very unique and colorful.
I would recommend this stumble to people because I have never seen art like this before and it is very intriguing. One person posted the pics but it doesn't show who took each one. My question is, How can someone make a picture like that?

I think this post is interesting because the robot can solve sudoku all by itself. I would recommend this post to someone because it shows how well technology has come along. The post is not sited it just tells the website it is from. My question is, How do u make a robot like that?

I think this post is interesting because the creatures in this post were created in a lab in japan.
I would recommend this post to someone because it is very interesting to learn about new creatures. The post only tells when it was posted and the title of the post. My question for the post is, How do you make one of the creatures?

In my favorite stumble i came acrosse a site that didn't really talk about but showed and presented a really good point about why we all can't just get along or be friends. it had a bunch of pictures of animals that 9 times out of 10 weren't going to be hanging out and friendly to each other.
Don't like reading? Read on...
another stumble that i liked was mainly cause i dont like to read but what they did was take books and jus make things out of them like chairs random things. and they would make three D pictures comeing out of the book almost like a pop up book but not at all.
Colors
My last stumble was a fun little coloring type of page where you just draged the mouse over the page and the different colors went off and made a cool trail that would fade away but was fun.

I stumbled across this map of an a cats brain and found it interesting, because it looked rather strange and in a way appealing. It was interesting because it explained what a typical cat thinks of on a day to day to basis. I would recommend this diagram because it is extremely educational. One question I have is how do people know what cats have on there mind through out the day?

I stumbled across this picture and found it very interesting. This is a picture of a squirrel sitting on a fence. This photo has been photo shopped, I found it interesting because it is so unrealistic and it shows how technology has developed over many years to be able to make this photo possible. One question I have about this topic is if technology is evolving and changing so fast to be able to make this picture possible, what is it going to be like in five years?

I stumbled across this article about homo sapiens and found it very interesting. It talks about the population and life span of homo sapiens along with the distribution of the human homo sapiens. The fact that interested me the most was the increasing population of human homo sapiens were its quoted an increase of 200,000 people a day. I would recommended this to a class mate or anyone who is interested in learning about human homo sapiens. One question I have is if the population is increasing as fast as it is why was there controversy about the species being extinct?

I stumbled upon this article and found it very interesting. This annelid is one of five that have recently been discovered with green bombs. Green bombs (shown by purple arrow)are a glowing matter dropped off the annelid in an effort to throw off there predators. I would recommend a classmate to view this page to learn more about annelids and the new discoveries that are obtained daily by marine biologist. A question about this topic I have is, how do biologist come about a species as unique as this?

The second article I found was about the marijuana use associated with significantly reduced risk of head and neck cancers. This is interesting because marijuana is highly looked at, as a horrible drug and for it to have anti-cancerous properties is amazing. It has been said that the US government has known about the anti-cancerous effects of marijuana for about 35 years now and are finally doing something about it. I would recommend a classmate to view this page to show that even though marijuana is considered a drug it can also be helpful in medicine. The obvious question I have is that if the government has known about this for 35 years and it can potentially help save lives why haven’t they done anything about it till now.

this picture was taken roughly at about midnight. Not many people realize that with today’s technology put together with nature amazing things can be achieved like this photo. This photo was taken with a camera that was exposed for about 300 seconds, and with the moonlight and movement in the clouds it has been given the daytime look. I would mostly recommend this to a classmate that was interested in photography and nature, because when the two are put together astonishing things can be created. A question I have is why? Why would someone even fathom creating this type of photo?
Love is simple.

This really got me. It is self explanatory if you read it. Something as simple as a hug and telling some one one you love them can change their mood. My suggestion to all is if some one you care about is feeling blue, just hug them and tell them that you love them. This could also be taken deeper and show that material things can not make a person happy. I recommend this site because it is something to brighten your day. I think it is cited decently. My question is who or what was the inspiration for this story.
# 1 stumble by: Luis Amurrio
i found this article interesting because the type of humor was new to me as well as the animation. I would recommend this article to my fellow classmates if they like to have a good laugh at how bad people draw cartoons and as well as to how stupid it is. Well it was only cited with the authors name at the top with the title but other than that i guess it was fine. Do u think the cartoon had a purpose?

This article was interesting because i never thought that this natural beauty would ever be still but it was and it blew my mind. I insist everyone see this photo cause it will change the way you look at life and how something impossible can be possible. This picture was not cited at all so i guess it was poorly cited and they should get banned for it! Ounce you saw this natural mystery do you think this really happened?

This animation was very interesting cause it reminded me of a very funny video of another cartoon dominating other cartoons and i got to represent my home boy BATMAN! This picture i kinda recommend cause it is not that funny but if your bored and have time than got for it. Ounce again this picture is not cited which is very bad cause it will not let me find more pictures to the rest of the story. Isn't batman number one hero ever to be created?
