Best of the Blogs
After reviewing and analyzing my classmate’s blogs I noticed that some people like to blog because it gives them a way to express their different point of views and how they feel about a certain piece of art, picture, video, or article. On the other hand some of my classmates just give a very brief description of what they have stumbled upon, using words like “it” when there is no picture of explanation of what “it” is. I started to compare my classmate’s blogs from what I can consider one of the best to some of the worse. I will not say any names because if I feel that I was not all that great I do not want anyone to be offended or upset by some of the comments I make. Noting that I would not hurt anyone’s feels on purpose and I will not give harsh criticism I am just stating some of my opinions.
To me a good blogger is when someone takes what they have seen, interrupts it in their now words, and used past experience to make connections with what they have just learned. For example someone wrote that they always considered themselves to be a good samaritan and help people, but after reading an article he realized that he/she do not know if he/she wants to help everyone. But now he is not sure and is kind of questioning if there is good in everyone all the time. The title of the article is “We are all Dark on the Inside.”
On the other hand, some people just come across a picture and write things down just to get the assignment over with. I think a bad blog is when someone stumbles across a cute picture and recommend people to look at because it is cool or nice to look at. For example, someone wrote their blog on “it”. I have no idea what “it” is because they did not explain what “it” was. Since they did not post the picture the person could have at least told the audience what they were looking at or explained what they seen. Some people should take blogging a little more serious and at least describe what they are looking at and not just say it is cool.
