Elizabeth O'Connor "Best of Blogs" Blog 9-22-09

Best of the Blogs

After I finished looking over and reading some of my classmates blogs I was mesmerized by how much information I learned in just a couple sentences. I personally think stumble upon has some great, short articles that tell you a lot of great information in just a couple paragraphs, it is a good website!

The article that I was most interested by was the stumble posted by Taylor. It was an article about “30 colorful Shots of High Speed Bullet Photography” And I have actually wondered about how an objects looks when the bullet is hitting it. This article made it very clear. We all know that a bullet goes faster than what a human eye can see so for the high-speed camera to catch this also is pretty amazing. Some of the pictures placed on this website are unreal, but amazing. I would encourage anyone to go check out http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2kv3Rl/www.digitalpicturezone.com/digital-pictures/30-colorful-examples-of-high-speed-bullet-photography// and just see and realize how much one small bullet can do! It is unreal.

I really like my writings that I do about my stumble upon because I believe I really some up the main purpose for my reader. However, I think reading other classmates blogs and than the blogs that we wrote really help you look at what you can improve. I’m not going to lie, at first I was like oh my gosh we have to do this mess, but I have really come to enjoy it, and I learn something new every week! I really enjoy doing stumble upon and I think it has helped me improve my writing skills. One thing I can take back to improve my papers is ordering my thoughts better. Sometimes I feel like I just write down what pops in my head and I don’t take the time to order my thoughts and place them where they need to go. The most important elements of writing an essay are your organization, the content of what you ready, and how well you understand what you read because you have to be able to explain the article to the reader so they get a clear understanding. Stumble upon has really helped me with my prewriting because I have to search for a topic, I have to identify my audience, research and read about what I’m going to write and say and than I have to organize it so that my readers understand it.

Stumble upon has been a helpful tool to not only me but to my classmates as well.

After completing the readings of my classmates Blogs I was amazed at how much I learnt, not only in the little things that were going on around me but the amount of extra knowledge I gained in day to day activities.

After reviewing the bloger page I came across a blog that referred to Michael Phelps. The blog was about his 12,000 calorie diet, it stated what he ate at breakfast and raised the question if it was healthy or not. In a typical breakfast he eats, Three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise. Two cups of coffee. One five-egg omelet. One bowl of grits. Three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar. Three chocolate-chip pancakes (Health Blog). This interests me greatly because I understand how important it is to eat healthy when you are training but to eat the amounts that Phelps does is simply astounding. It also raises the question to weather it is healthy or not. After reading this blog I could see the differences between my blog and that off my classmates. There are very few differences, however I did notice that BK the initials of the writer did put much more emphasize on the second question and applied little detail to questions three and four.

I believe writing those blogs and reading different peoples blogs and then writing a response to them has helped me produce a much higher quality of writing. Over the last three weeks I think I have improved a lot in my writing skills and I believe this is all due to having to complete a stumble upon and helium every week. In doing these they force you to use your critical thinking skills and expand on the main idea using examples and posing questions.

Gooding-Best of blogs

The first blog I read was about Steve Hooker, he suffered an injury but pulled through and ended up getting the gold medal anyways. The author of this blog was very well written. He also had a similar experience happen to them so it was a very relatable blog. Since the author could relate to the stumble I feel like he put more time into it and knew what he was talking about. I really liked how this stumble was put together. This stumble seemed to flow really well and had a good amount of detail, since the author brought a personal experience to it, it brought a more personal touch to it and gave other people something to relate to if they have been through a similar experience. The next blog I read was one about Michael Phelps's diet. When I read it I was amazed about how much he actually ate. I know that I wouldn't be able to eat that much. I feel like this author was really good at what they talked about. I liked how they included some of the information from the site instead of just talking about it. It felt like you knew more about the site before you even had to look at it. It was also good how they included some of the citations. Some future topics I might consider for papers would be the effects of a healthy diet on athletes, or the best way to stay in shape while injured. Stumble is a great prewriting tool because you can find something on a topic and it might just turn out to be the topic you decide to talk about. It can also give you some information about the topic of choice. According to my classmates the most important elements to a successful essay would be good flow, sentence structure, paragraph structure, and details. I feel like blogging is a good writing tool so far cause it allows you to just get your ideas out in the open and gets your creative juices flowing. Also it helps you to think of points to your own paper topic.

There are many different interesting articles in helium and stumbleupon. I read an article about helium by Andrew Wolford. It was about differences between Windows system and GNU/Linux system. Honestly, I never heard about GNU/Linux system. Top rated one was the best presenting the information, the middle rated one and the lowest rated was decen but not enough information. The next helium article I read about is what to do if you cannot get along with your roommate by Kasey Talley. She stated the top rated article about we must find way to get closer and manage to compromise, and the middle and lowest rated articles were losing interest as keep reading and did not mentioned solutions. I read stumbleupon article by Emily Guenthner. These blogs were interesting and wonder how could not find one of these. The basement was amazing, Niagara Falls was bit of scare, and the ice was fun. The next stumbleupon I read was by Luke Perry. He read about facts like “The women of the Tiwi tribe in the South Pacific are married at birth”, some weird religions, and a man uses bubble unbelievably.
I learned when I was reading these articles, I should write including my personal feeling more than I usual write. I felt when I was writing; I use the information in the article mostly, and do not use my personal opinion and personal experience. I could see the people’s articles were about the articles they read and their emotions were included well.
I think the stumbleupon helps a lot with our writing skill. I read the article first, think about article I just read, start writing about information I remember clearly, and put my emotion about the article. These steps are just like prewritings which I can improve myself just keep doing the stumbleupon.
I think the most important element is verifying three different rated articles’ difference, and think why those articles are rated differently. It is like comparing and contrasting but in this case, same topic and different authors.
The most effect of blogging is I can compare my article with my classmates and other classes. I may feel about my article is best but there is always someone who is better than my article. The blogging is good opportunity to know about my writing style and difference among other articles. The blogging is great.

I was looking through Blogger for around 10 minutes when I came across a blog named Comedy Movies by Bradley King. This article instantly caught my eye because of the large picture of Borat smiling at me. The quote above the picture made me laugh so I decided to look into the blog with more detail. I read through the article to find that the website gave you a list of comedy films to watch before you die. Bradley went on to write about why he liked the website, and also wrote his criticisms. I thought it was good that he was able to find a negative in the website, even though he had wrote so much positive stuff about it. He picks out that the website only has the pictures of the movie, and not any information about them. I always like to know what the film is about, and which type of comedy it is before I watch it.
Bradley goes on to ask a question which made me wonder the same thing. He wrote, “I would like to know after looking at this page how much money I've actually wasted on watching these movies?” This is a very good question as it makes the reader think about how many times they have had trips to the cinema, or watch DVD’s that they have bought. All of which quickly add up in price. Bradley finishes off the article well. He states 5 of his own facts of comedy. These are his personal 5 facts, although I would agree with a few of them. It’s a nice touch to add on the end as it made me laugh, as I’m sure it did with other readers of the blog. The only criticism I have of the blog is that Bradley doesn’t go into much detail about how many movies are on the website, or how well the website is laid out. Apart from this, I enjoyed reading the blog, and may use the website for future reference.

#2 The links above were the blogs I chose because I thought they were the most interesting. The 1st link was a stumble about how many cups of beer are in one keg, the second link is talking about the hidden secrets you don't know about your dentist, and the third link is about some animals that you have never seen before.

#3 The second link I chose was one of Jordan Shreiner’s that was about the hidden truths about your dentists. It says your dentist might not have an updated education on how to use new equipment and use new materials that have just been produced. Another secret they might be keeping from you is your dentist might still be using mercury fillings that are no longer approved by the FDA because mercury is toxic to humans. This just makes me hate going to the dentist even more but now I am informed and I will ask my dentist these questions to see if he is up to date with everything. I think I might write a paper in the future about the secrets doctors and dentists keep from their patients. This paper will be an informing paper.

The stumbles to me are a great tool for prewriting because it helps you think of topics to write about but that’s only my opinion. It gives you something to read then think about an express your feelings about certain topics. Plus it also allows others to look at your work and post comments if they like what you wrote about or sometimes people will disagree with you. Plus it’s like a form of peer editing and this can be helpful for when you turn work into your professors.

#4 The key thing about making your helium or stumble good are to make sure they flow and aren’t choppy. Also you need to know about your topic you just read about. So make sure you read the whole article and know about your article, this helps to make your helium or stumble sound good and this will lead to a good grade.

#5 I think the whole blogging thing took me a while to get use to because I didn’t like it at 1st but then I just figure out how to blog and it became easy. I think it is a good tool to improve your writing skills. I would recommend blogging to improve your writing skills.

After reading several of my classmate’s blogs I found out that Cheyanne was one of the ones that I liked the most. Not only because she is is my friend but she interested in the same things as myself. She blogged about the strange sea animals just like I did because it was really amazing how weird and different those animals are. My other favorite blog would be Andrew Grover’s, he caught my attention by first stating that beer can rehydrate you better than water can. So being a college student of course I’m going to continue to finish reading about this to see if it actually is true. As I kept reading his blogs I found a lot more interesting blogs about sports and space and other things I also take a liking to. I learned several topic ideas in reading people’s blogs. They gave me very high hope for other blogs that I plan on writing in the near future. A lot of people also write more than me so I’m thinking I need to express my opinion more or not read such short stumble upons. Stumble is a very helpful tool to learning how to express yourself with things that you read and also it helps with how to start papers. I have such a hard time starting my papers but now that I have started doing blogs I just write how I feel like starting out with a hook or quote. The most important writing elements for helium would be that you need to read all the essay’s, even if they are not so good you still need to read all of them to be able to write more and be more detailed. I feel as if Blogging has really helped me; it is very easy to do and not very time consuming. So with that in mind I think about that when I start to write essay’s now. I just think of it as a blog and then start writing. Later on I then correct to sound more like a paper than a blog but it just gives me a positive mind and helps me to stay up and not get frustrated with writing papers or starting them.

My first page I stumbled upon would be I guess a saying from Marion Winik. I feel that he went deep into this saying or list. He pretty much put all of life's lessons in one little list. He put that should always be gentle with your parents which is so true; they raised you and should always be treated with the up most respect. He also said something that really made me think, the path is not straight. When i read that I thought that no matter which way you decided to go on your path in life it will always be worth it but be very hard along the way. I feel like my fellow class mates would enjoy this because it would also make them think in depth as well. There were no other sites cited on there. And my only question would be; How did he think of all of these?

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2uCGw4/www.scarlett-archer.com/otherthansaid.html/

I stumbled upon this very helpful page and thought to myself, wow I could really use this to widen my vocabulary. It shows all the other words you can use instead of the word said. My class mates would love this page because this would improve our writing abilities in the near future. There are no other sites cited on this page. How can people think of so many words that mean the same thing?

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#19m3TU/blog.rocketboom.com/post/102948092/the-top-15-most-bizarre-sea-animals/

This page is very strange and yet very interesting to me. It shows pictures and tells about all these different sea animals that I had no idea were even real. One of the Strangest ones I saw and read about would have to be the BlobFish which has a nickname of the Ziggy Fish. It's body is made of gelatinous because he lives so deep in the ocean that it doesn't need to swim or expand any energy. I feel that my class mates will be just as amazed as I was to see all these weird animals really exist. My only question is: Why have we not heard about them sooner?

The first stumble I came across and liked was the Michael Phelps diet by Bradley king. I thought this was crazy, I had seen a thing about this on ESPN when the Olypics were goin on. They had a reporter flow him every meal and order and atemp to eat the same thing as michael, a very big chanlenge as found out by this reporter who could never finish the meals but left very full. As King stated that his stumble stated an average human should not try to eat this many calories in a given day because it is unhealthy, but it also kind of impossable I think.

My next favorit stumble that i stubmbled upon was one that i actually came acrosse as well, but did not write about. It was submited by Derk Bouwmans it was his second stumble on the 22. If it is the person i think am thinking about it was kind of perfect for him since he is a forgien student, but at the same time i believe this stumble which is s a simple picture speaks a lot for america and our lack of inteligence about the actions and happenings around the world. Our government seems to do a pretty good job at sheltering us and at the same time we do not really try or atemp to learn more or care a whole lot about other areas because we aren't there.

My last stumble of stumbles was Kody Kuhn's third stumble about High speed bullets impact on objcts. Kody said he really liked all the color affects of a lot of the pictures which I thought was cool but at the same time relaly liked the pictures where you could see the bullet either during or after its impact. Like in the two photos I have put up there where the bullet has not yet gone threw but you can see it streching out and getting ready to rip out of the object. Then this other one looks to me like a clear christmas ball filled with water. I think it is awsome how you see the ball being cracked and you can see the bullet makeing it was threw the water, its jus really cool to me.

Best of the blogs

As i was reading through some of the blogs there were three that caught my attention. One was by Iesha and it was this guy who can make anything out of wood. In the picture that she had posted it was a sports car and he made it so that it could float on water. The whole car inside and out was very detailed and looked perfect. It is crazy that he could make that out of wood and make it float. I liked the article that she wrote about this item. The second article that I liked was posted by Eli, it is an article about the swine flu vaccination. This article is very detailed and talked about who is able to get the shot and who isn't. All the roomers were cleared up about the children and elderly would get them first but in fact the children are not allowed to get the shot. My last article is by Gray and it was an article about this guy who would get 300 pre rolled marijuana cigarettes every 25 days from the pharmacy.
The most interesting articles I thought were really just the random ones that I would come across. I cant put it into a group because they are all over the place from making a car that seems like it could drive right out of wood and make it being able to float in the water to the flu vaccination controversy to some states legalizing marijuana. Reading these articles have given me many ideas about future papers and how i should approach the topic, like if I should do it like a pros and cons paper, or maybe I can just take one side of the paper and defend that side. The new topic ideas that I are more about science, technology, and then just the random topics that I have come across. I think stumble upon is a very good prewriting tool because we read an article then have to write what we thought of it. This gets us thinking in many different for like thinking outside of the box instead of just having tunnel vision. It seems like from looking at my classmates helium blogs is that they like detail and clearness. I don't like it when i read a prompt and its jumping all over the place with ideas and stuff. That makes it really hard to read and understand. I think the good prompts are detailed and don't jump around with ideas. I think blogging has really helped me with writing because it makes me write first of all and it makes you write about a bunch of different things. It helps you think in many different ways abut what an article is about and then you write about it and give you opinion in your blog. You can read other blogs that people have done to see what you can improve on and what you are doing right. Its like a self improvement blog. While you are stumbling you also get to learn stuff around around the world like what china is doing or what things other countries are doing like putting a power plant in space or launching a new space ship or making robots that are able to make the decision to fire its weapon or not. I would have never even know about these stories if I didn't go to stumble and blog on these articles. Helium is helpful also because you get to write why a prompt was good or bad so now your not only reading the article but your reading someone else's blog post and you get to comment why you like it or why you don't like it. So now you get to see what the other bloggers think and use that information to put towards your blog post, their post may open a door for you that you would have never even seen. This is a very useful program at first I thought it was going to be an annoyance but it is kind of addicting and its a good way to improve your writing every day.

The city life is the best. This is a picture of the city and the bright lights. It is a very pretty picture but the sky contradict the nice bright lights. The city is all nice and pretty where the sky is a little gloomy. Its like the city is telling one story and the sky is saying something else.

Pentagon exploring Robot killers that can fire on their own- stubleupon

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2E7gU8/www.commondreams.org/headline/2009/03/25-11/
This article is about robots being able to make the choice to fire not a human. The on-board computer programs would make the choice of firing the weapon. This seems good and all, it would make for less casualties. But what would happen if these things went crazy and we tried to make them to much like a human. Giving them the decision to fire their weapon is big they will never be able to understand the situation that they are in. What if something had happened and the robot should fire its weapon but doesn't since he was not programmed to do that certain thing. A human would diagnose situation and figure out if he or she should fire the weapon. I feel like there are a lot of things that can go wrong with these things. What if they all just got together and created a gang and tried to control us? How much would these items cost? How many would they be sending into the war? Are there enough technicians to fix them or would we just scrap them and buy all new ones? I feel like this has its pros and cons but right now it has to many cons to take a risk on such a thing like this.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2YiveG/www.livescience.com/culture/090903-seizure-switch.html/topic:Brain%2520Disorders

The first article I stumbled upon was “Seizures Makes Woman Mistake Herself For a Man.” Know when I saw this title I was like how creepy!!! Now I know some basic facts about seizures like do not try and hold down the person if they are having one, and don’t put your hand in there mouth because they will clamp down and you won’t be able to get your hand or fingers out until after the seizure s over with. But I did not know that it could make you think you were a man. This article states that for the first time, scientist report an instance of a brain seizure making someone believe they underwent a sex formation. This seizure was making this woman think she was becoming a male and she thought that she was starting to have man hormones and features, as she also did when she saw her woman friend. So to fix this issue instead of doing brain surgery to implant electrodes that can help monitor and control the disorder, but can also stimulate cells to better understand brain circuits. The researchers instead are seeking to develop tests checking how well a person can distinguish gender, to analyze this patient and potentially others. This is kind of creepy. I wonder if they will ever be a cure for this problem that has started to happen?

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1Prd0L/picky-palate.com/2009/09/10/caramel-apple-cream-cheese-cookie-bars//

Now this stumble upon looked so good when I pulled it up! I love apples and cream cheese, so I had to do a stumble upon about it! This is a caramel apple cream cheese cookie bar, not doesn’t that sound good!? From the ingredients it doesn’t seem bad, but when I started to read the instructions I wish they would of broke it up in more than just two steps because I like step by step things and this has two steps with like a paragraph of information. I don’t like that! A lady named Jenny, now who ever Jenny is I don’t know, left this recipe. The comments people have left her are all positive and they all say how good it looks and how they can’t wait to try it. I would love to try it and attempt to make it but first of all I don't have a kitchen, and secondly I know it will not turn out to look like this!

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1BleFo/www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/09/14/showerhead.bacteria/index.html/

The last article I stumbled upon was an article about “Showerheads may deliver blast of bacteria.” Now this made me turn up my noise, because we all have a showerhead on the shower, and I hate the showers in the dorm anyway so this article just makes it 20x’s worse!!! This article states that potentially disease-causing germs can get trapped in showerheads and grow into biofilm, or coats of slim that deliver a bacteria blast along with your hot water. Than it goes onto say “the bacteria probably doesn’t pose a threat to most people, although they could be problematic for those with weakened immune systems.” That kind of scares me because I know A LOT of people are on campus which means that there immune systems aren’t strong. So in other words keep healthy and you should be just fine! Keep your self clean, and WASH YOUR HANDS!!! I just have one question how can you and the researchers be certain that the bacteria coming from the shower heads won’t effect you?

This article was posted by CNN.

The Michael Phelps Diet-Bradley King-StumbleUpon

This page was interesting to me because after I read it I was amazed. This article is about Michael Phelps 12,000 calorie diet. For example this is Phelps breakfast......... Breakfast: Three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise. Two cups of coffee. One five-egg omelet. One bowl of grits. Three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar. Three chocolate-chip pancakes (Health Blog). Could you image trying to eat that much food everyday? People raise the question is it unhealthy to eat this much? But sports medicine doctors say yes it is if you do not burn it off. But for Phelps, his vigorous workouts demand the extra calories. I recommend this page to anyone that just wants to read something interesting. This page was cited very well. After reading this page I would like to know how much does Phelps swim a day?

2. The topics that I read about were: dogs and what they eat, interesting things that happened on your birthday, rare species of animals, how to provide for a family on a small budget.
3. I found that all of the articles that I read showed a lot about the Author and they all did a pretty good job on adding in information about each of their topics. Granted that some authors did a better job than others. I really enjoyed reading Cherilyn Hallyburton's article on things that happened on your date of birth. I agree with her that everyone should check this site out and learn about what happened on the day that they were brought into this amazing world of ours. I also enjoyed reading Candace Flowers' take on the Purina dog food diet, and how the dog from the article would only eat the Purina dog food and not any other brand. I think that the dog is crazy how it would know the difference between what food it was given. The owner is very impressed with the dog's ability to tell the good from the not so good. Justin Katz wrote on the this article about animals that people had probably never seen before in their lives, which I have to agree as true because when I went to look at the website, I only knew like two or three of the animals that were shown. This surprised me because I am pretty good with animals and knowing which species that it is, but these were so new and rare that I had no idea where to even start. I think that most anyone would enjoy reading this article.
4. The writing style was different for each of the authors, I found that some were very smart in the way that they would word things, or that the flow of some of the blogs was not at smooth or clear which made it harder to read and understand. I felt that some people just rushed through their blogs and did not take time to read and get the meaning of what they were stumbling.
5. By doing this I found that it helps more than just me, I think it gives people a chance to see what they are really interested in and what they would want to write about in the future. I enjoy doing the blogs and I think it gives us practice on topics that could be used for another essay if needed.

The first page that popped up on stumble was PhobiaGuide.com [http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1wMufs/www.phobiaguide.com//]. It lists all of the words for the random phobia's people have. I think everyone should see this page because its funny seeing what people can be scared of, for example genophobia, which is fear of sex. There are no sources cited on this page. I just want to know are people really scared of all these random things?

The second page i came upon was "CANABALT" [http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#9LC9du/adamatomic.com/canabalt//]. This is a very interesting game where you are escaping from an unknown location and are trying to jump over random obstacles and from building to building. If you like games you should view this page to try this one out. There were no sources for this page because it was a game, and it led me to having just one question, Who makes up these games?

The last page i stumbled to was "ohnotheydidnt: the 10 most disturbing books of all time" [http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2vBi6j/community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/35172946.html?page=2/]. This is a really cool website where an avid reader has put up a list of the ten most disturbing books he has ever read. It makes me want to read one of the books. I think people should all see this page just to see what he has to say and see what books he put up there. This page is not really well cited, it does give information about the books but not truly cited. I was just wondering why he says these books are the worst and its making me want to read them. To do my own research on the books to see if they are actually the worst.

Fighting through the pain-Bradley King-StumbleUpon

This page was interesting to me because despite Australia's Steve Hooker injury, he still claimed the gold during the world championships in the pole vault. Doing this shows how courageous and willing Steve was to be the best in the world. What really got me interested though was that I did a similar thing this past track season, just not on such high a level. I ran from March through May on a fractured ankle. Despite the pain I felt I did not want to give my season up. Because I knew that it was my year to break some records, and win some races. I recommend this page to athletes that need encouragement to fight through injuries, and adversity that you will face as an athlete. This was one of the best cited pages that I have read so far. The page has an author, date, and labeled the picture. This article did not leave me wanting to know more, it was a very informative page that answered all my questions.

I stumbled on the this page: These are short sentences with different types of facts in it. I thought it was very interesting to read. Some things are truly amazing and of some are just funny to read. There is one like ‘ When Albert Einstein died, his final words died with him.’ This one made me laugh. Some others like ‘George Washington grew marijuana in his garden’ were interesting to read and funny to know. But there were also some facts which I didn’t knew and I could learn some of. I didn’t knew that During World War One, The future Pope John XXIII was a sergeant in the Italian Army, Albert Einstein was once offered the Presidency of Israel. He declined saying he had no head for problems and that Only 1 child in 20 are born on the day predicted by the doctor. One funny fact for me as a tennis player was this one. It is illegal to play tennis in the streets of Cambridge.

This was really interesting because I am from Europe. It also strikes me that Americans do not know a lot of what happens in the rest of world events. They often know where they use others (Europe) countries use for, but that is all they know most of the time. I also see that the 'pussies' are in europe! I wonder where they think that…

I saw these pictures and thought it was awful. You don’t think it’s possible to life like this but I know that some people do. I don’t care when it’s messy in my room but when I see this, I wished that guy had a mam who tells him to clean his room. It’s disgusting and it’s not possible to stay healthy in this environment.

I watched a video with a guy scratching his raccoons arms.I feel llike thats out of the ordinary. None of my friends have racoons as pets , and if they did I doubt they would be petting it like a cat or dog.In a weeird twisted kind of way the video is cute because the racoon is holding his arms up for the owner.Although its cute I still wouldn't buy one. This video shoukd be used as a sublimittal commercial to see how many people would buy them as house pets.

My next stumble is called timebeat. This timebeat means nothing to me although it reminds me of a heartbeat with numbers flying around. This picture has me kind of confused. I'm thinking what is this picture supposed to insinuate? Is it that time is constantly going like your heartbeat?

I read about Photoshop efeects and how to munipulate them. I personally love photoshop , its interesting and it keeps you busy. I used to want to be a photographer so this wasa definitely one of my areas of interest. Mostly when I think of photoshop I think of , Who had the time and patience to create all of these effects and put them together so efficiently? There are jobs that are based off of creating illusions and photoshop, How much easier coukd their jobs be? Before I came to Lees-Mcrae I visited the Art Institute Of Atlanta , My tour guide showed me plenty of interesting things , but most eye poping of all she showed me inverse colors of photographer pictures. To me photoshop is a helpful but yet and still hendering tool to your imagination.

I read and article called fall fashion 2009.The article bascically was saying that the colors and trends we liked last year aren't the same as what we as consumers like now.I feel like thats accurate. As consumers we decide what we want to wear.We decide the colors that go with the season, and ultimately we decide what producers make . Producers make what consumers want because they are in the industry to make a proftit hince the quote " the customer is always right"The author wrote this paper pretty well . The other two weren't so great they mostly just had spelling errors.IfI was the author of this paper I would have written to the propmpt as she did.

What interests me about this article is because Michael jordan is one of the best basketball players theat ever came around. Also between the end of Michael Jordan college career and when he started playing for the NBA career,Michael Jordan had helped team USA to a gold medal at 1984 olympics in Los Angeles. But i think Michael is a great player.
I would recommend one of my classmates this, especially if they play basketball, because they can learn a lot from Michael Jordan. A question i would ask is hard do you have to work to become goos as this man.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#25Y5wU/www.twohundredsitups.com// I Like this article because i am trying to get into shape for one. And also in this article it says" If you're serious about increasing your core strength, that you need to follow this six week training program. And i am trying to build up my strength. I recommend this to whomever is trying to get into shape. A question i would ask is, is basically is it worth it.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1KwuCT/www.explosm.net/comics/1801// I like tis article because, it basically talks about how you can have fun. and in this it is showing funny comics. Comics are very fun and it also can make people have a better day just by reading them. So i recommend that if you are having a bad day read a comic and maybe it can cheer you up. My question is how long it take you to make these comics? and why you do it?
