Patterson TeenagersVs.Adults

As you already know teenagers and adults, they are not on the same page with each other sometimes. Cause most teenagers they think since they are at a certain age they don't have to go by there parents rules. Many teenagers forget how to act in a way that, people can look at them and see if they are soon to be adults, but by acting like you are a child and you are really not people gone think you still are a child just by the way you are acting in public. Both adults and teenagers shoul be able to talk to one another in a adult matter without them getting mad at one another. Also when the adult is talking to the teenager, teenagers should be able to listen to the adult without catching an attitude. I think teenagers an adults should respect one another without one getting mad and saying stuff that they really don't mean. The stronger essay states strong ideas and also give a lot of support tthan the other ones that i had read. It also gives examples about what they are talking about. The lesser essay it didn't support there ideas like they should and should have gave more examples. But overrall i liked the first essay the best it had a lot of support.

Ashley Helium Vegetables

The Question is: Are Canned Vegetables as healthy as fresh ones?-bre ashley

Fewer people believe that canned vegetables are just as healthy as fresh ones than those that believe the than those that believe they are. Some say that when we cook vegetables both canned and fresh until they are soft they lose their nutrients. So they are equally healthy. For those that oppose believe that freshly grown vegetables have been treated with chemicals and natural pesticides to prevent us from eating any pest and to keep the vegetables from spoiling. Vegetables can spoil and lose nutritional value while canned so you got to be careful about what you are eating. The stronger essay states that they have tried both canned and fresh vegetables and gives in detail and supports his point very well. For the lesser essay they are not strictly focused on Yes their just as good or No their not. He talks about the good and the bad of both canned and fresh vegetables. I believe that fresh vegetables are healthier for the body than those that are canned for one reason is that they are straight from the garden and are more natural they have not yet been through the whole canning processes which can take nutrients away. Another reason is that there is more sodium in canned vegetables than in fresh which is not very healthy. Personally there is nothing like having some vegetables that came straight from the garden.

The prompt I reviewed today on helium was why happiness is contagious. I learned that happiness is mostly contagious. We can become happy from happy surroundings and happy people. For the best essay the author used stats and examples in life to show how one could become happy. For the lesser essays authors needed not facts. If I was to write about this I would use examples from things that make me happy to show happiness and why it is contagious.

Hartley Helium Food & Drink

I read an aritcle about eating breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gets you started and prepared for a day ahead. It helps you focus and concentrate better throughout the day. It presented me with facts about why it is better to eat breakfast and not skip it. Normal people eat two hours before bed so when they wake up from eight hours of sleep then there body is practically broken from no food. It needs to be reenergized with food the next morning and healthy food would be a plus. The other articles were more personal experiences but helped me understand why I should eat breakfast.

MacConnell Helium Weight

In the article it talks about how in today’s world we tend to judge others by there weight. It is said that individuals are being bullied and discriminated due to being obese. At school obese children are targets for being made fun of and being bullied around. I can not imagine what that would feel like. The source is sited well and explains good points.

It is said that in today’s world women are have to work two times as hard as men to stay afloat, and three or for times more diligently to be successful. Also, it is found that obese women are found in lower socioeconomic classes. Studies have also shown that women can not control there food intake sometimes, which leads to becoming obese. In the article it was cited well and had good points.

The self esteem by millions is taken over by issues concerning weight. Many think that a world with out scales is a good idea, but if you really think about it you should be glad that was have such a thing. Knowing our weight is a good idea because other wise we are going have many health issues.

Unusual Trees
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2bJ5tP/woondu.com/really-unusual-trees//
This to me is the craziest Stumble I have found so far, It was simply a bunch of crazy pictures of crazy trees. These trees have grown over the years and haven't let anything stop them. There are some trees that grew threw the roof of a building. Another didn't bother to move what was in its way, it grew around it, threw it, or into it. some people were relatively smart and built around the trees or made alterations for the trees.

This shouldn't surprise you that I have a stumble with animals as I think i always have so far. This is rather extraordinary however. This woman in China says she woke up one night and turned on the lights to see and snake clinging to her wall with its one leg. Natural instinct she wasn't sure what it was at first and killed it on the spot rather than capturing it and preserving it. It is stated they are currently studying the snake at an institute in China

Stumble me baby one more time! - Brittany Bowers

http://www.backstage.com/bso/advice-the-craft/playing-drunk-1004011298.story

You may be asking yourself, why on earth did she pick this article? Well! As soon as I saw you just can’t stumble through it as a subtitle, I had to pick this as my stumble choice. As you read this article, you will find out that it is actually about acting. The article talks about the true gods of the big screen, examples you ask? Well, Martin Sheen for one. This article explains how the true big wigs of Hollywood do it, as an article on how to. Main pointers for the short piece are: consistency, relax, do not actually be drunk, slur your words, adjust that balance of yours, and of course, be emotional. These are just a few of many pointers that the article shows you.

http://www.google.ca/holidaylogos.html
Why? Because I can!! The Google logos are quite amazing, not to mention Graphic design. Hence why I picked this site as my second wonderfully amazing stumble. Graphic design is here and now, as I said in my senior project for high school. Anyway, back to the site at hand, each holiday Google has their logo modified and unique to fit that holiday’s description. Which is really unique! I heart Google. For each design, a different designer. Thank you Google for diversifying our interwebs.

Young, upcoming artists of the future have a huge advantage off of older artists. The internet has turned learning new art forms and techniques quite easy, with video tutorials and not to mention just tutorials in itself. The art based community is ever growing, and the internet is just speeding it along like a missile. Art to me, is the future. Other people may enjoy this site if they just have a tendency to want to learn.

Kasey Talley-Signs your College Student is Homesick

Homesickness is a very important problem especially this time of the year. College students start feeling homesick because of new surroundings, away from family and friends. This article helps parents identify signs that their child may be homesick. It gives senarios such as the child constantly making negative comments about school, crying histerically, and begging and pleading to come home. The article warns parents to be tough by not giving in right away but also to be aware of there childs surroundings as they adapt to their new life. The other articles talk about how parents once were in their childs situation and their parents had to give them tough love as well. Its hard on the parents just as much on the students.

I read about what is and isn't cheating. I like this one because its very true in life. I have always stated some of the things that were talked about in this article. I learned that there is more then one way to look at cheating and what cheating is. Also, it gave me a broader outlook on relationships. I think the writers were different and had different types of writing. I would enjoy writing about this. I think it would make a vary good essay.

I stumbled across this article called “recognizing a stroke.” It was kind of sad to read that Ingrid had passed away because she had tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. Now they didn’t recognize that she had had a stroke but whom really would of other than a paramedic? I surely wouldn’t have thought anything of it. But from now on I know that if I just remember S.T.R. I will be able to predict whether she had a stroke. S standing for SMILE, T stands for asking the individual to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE, and R stands for ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS. If we all just remember S.T.R. than we can save a life! I would recommend this site to anyone because I believe it is very important to know! Joelet Reyes forwarded this article so we don’t really know who came up with this, however it is copyrighted. This was a very simple and to the point article that could save a life.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2Xj3D9/www.npr.org/blogs/health/2009/09/swine_flu_vaccine_coming_soon.html?ft=1&f=103537970/

I stumbled across this article about “Swine Flu Vaccine: Coming Soon To An Arm Near You.” This article is by: Richard Knox. Instead of the sine flu vaccinations not being until mid October they should now be in “Americans arms in the first week of October!” That is good news!!!! However, they have not decided who will be the first to receive the vaccinations so all this talk about the infants, pregnant women, and elderly getting the shots first is NOT true. It states in this article “the early release of vaccine will presumably not be available for children because the pediatric studies of vaccine safety and effectiveness are still underway.” “One spokesman at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention says they’re likely to be the nation’s 13.5 million health care workers and 2.6 million first responders to be the first to receive this vaccine. Which makes sense because if there not here to help the elderly and victims in accidents that who will be there to help them if the ones that do this are diagnosed with the swine flu? They are not sure how many doses will be released in October but some will be vaccinated for the swine flu, so that is good news! I just wonder how long it takes the scientists to make the vaccine? Because if they have already made “20 million” doses than why can’t they still make them and be able to have more vaccines ready by October? I would recommend this to anyone because I know that everyone is curious about the swine flu and they all want to know more.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#4PAccd/www.foodchannel.com//

I stumbled upon this last article and it caught my eye because I love mac and cheese the only thing that turns me off about this is the lobster. I like regular mac and cheese and with it having lobster in it just turns my noise. However, I would try it! It says that this dish is served in “chic restaurants” over the U.S., but I don’t know what a chic restaurant is so I would have to just make it at home. It does not seem hard to make it calls for 16 different ingredients but it only has 7 steps for preparation. This article is sited and copyrighted by The Food Channel, and if you have any further question you can comment them, “they would love to hear from you.” I would recommend this recipe to anyone that likes to try new dishes and anyone interested in cooking. I wouldn’t mind trying this myself.

Social issues faced by exotic pet owners - 9/15 Justin Katz

I reviewed the social issues faced by exotic pet owners. I learned that the different types of pets are as original and unique as their owners. The author incorporated her experiences personally, which supports what she says. The lower rated essays were all over the place and had horrible spelling. I would tackle this topic by putting my opinion and supporting it with facts.

9/15 Helium Will Chase

My prompt was about necessities in your college dorm room. It talks about four things, personal hygiene, laundry, bedding, and studying. Then it tells about each category in a paragraph. I learned that we can spend up to about a third of our lives in bed. In the best prompt the author organized it by talking about each category in a different paragraph. In the lesser prompts the author did the same thing by talking about each category. But they talked about to many. If I were to write about this prompt I would pick five major categories and talk a little about each one.

http://www.helium.com/items/852794-are-blondes-really-less-educated-than-most-people
the essay that i read about what talking bout blonde's, and how they are stereotyped because of the color of their hair. my first essay that i read, which was the top essay, talked about how people judge them. the author also talked about how there are some blondes that are really smart and how they pass with flying colors, but on the weekends they act dumb. the author also mention how it easy to act dumb even though you are not because people already expect for you to be dumb because of how u look; or expect for u to be smart because of how you look. the author really made you think, and they asked a lot of questions. the last essay was more of a personal essay. he talked bout how he has blond hair and he has good grades. this essay is not as good as the first, simple because it didn't really leave you thinking about the topic like the first essay. the middle essay is more of an opinion essay. how the celebrities in the media give blondes a bad name because of how they act. how times as changed and that blondes no longer rule the rule, that they are just as smart.

helium frazier first dates

The prompt I choose to review was on people first dates. The best article I read was very interesting. She talked about how she was new in the dating scene, because she had just gotten out of a bad marriage. She used her life experiences in her old marriage, to help shape what she wanted her dating to be like. The last article about first date was just to wordy for me. I lost focus in the middle of the story. Compare to the first article, I think it was less detail in a way that it did not get straight to the point.

Caldwell Helium Autmn Raking Leaves

I read the essays dealing with autumn and raking leaves. Even thought the essays deal with autumn they are supposed to be a drama. While reading these essays one may learn that many people think about the country and small farm houses when they think about autumn becasue of the pretty colors of the leaves when they change. The essay that was voted number on was a about a mother and daughter who just lost the father or husband. The girl who wrote this answered the topic by writting in it as a play. She also told you how the people in the plays feel while they are talking. She told about how things change and even though sometimes things change and we do not want them too it will be okay and work out. The essay that was voted to be the last one is not as detailed as the first one. They are almost missing the piont of autumn, the pretty leaves and colors, and seem to be making it a bad thing. I would go on the fact that autumn is a good time to show someone change is good. The color of the leaves are changing and making everything enen more pretty and that sometimes change is not what they want but sometimes it is a good thing if you just sit back and let things happen.

stumble upon-how medical marijuna became legal-Roger Parloff

Today i stumbled upon how marijuana became legal. For thirty eight years Irvin Rosenfeld has been smoking ten to twelve rolled marijuana cigarettes. He has a rare blood disease which was diagnosed when he was ten years old. Rosenfeld was one of four people in the Unite States that is given three hundred rolled marijuana cigarettes every twenty five days by his pharmacy. Now thirteen states have laws that let people smoke medical marijuana. There are many other states that are trying to pass these laws to help people with diseases.

I stumbled upon a baseball game that was during this past summer. A man took his son who has down syndrome to see his favorite baseball team play for his twenty first birthday. In the bottom of the eighth inning the father reached over the wall to catch a foul ball. The father missed the ball and flipped over the side smashing his face into the ground. While the kid not able to help his father, Albert Pujols ran over and helped the helpless man. After falling from the stands Tepas found out that Albert Pujols had a daughter who also had down syndrome. Because of his father falling from his seat, Keith was able to meet his favorite baseball player Alber Pujols.

Gooding-Helium-Adopting a rabbit

Everybody has their dream of a perfect pet. For some its dogs and other's its cats. However, for some it is the love and fluffiness of a rabbit. There are many considerations to think about when getting a rabbit and this helium can answer a lot of people's questions. I reviewed the prompt "Things you need to know before adopting a rabbit". I learned that you can train a house rabbit to use a litter box and that they are very clean animals. However, even though they are litter box trained they are still prone to accidents. The best essay on this topic was very informative. She gave clear differences between caged rabbits and house rabbits. She also told how each one should be taken are of and what their different needs are. For example, a home needs to be rabbit proof if you are to get a house rabbit, but if you have a caged rabbit you must provide a nesting area. The author also talks about the daily needs of a rabbit, such as food, water, and daily grooming. She describes the many health hazards that rabbits are prone to and what can be done to help. The authors is very detailed and you can tell she knows what she's talking about. I feel like the author had a great structure throughout her essay and made it flow really well. For the middle essay I think it was alright. The author knew her points and what she was talking about but she put her points in a list and just left it like that instead of elaborating on each one a little. I didn't really feel like this was an essay. i felt more like it should have been a list at the local pet shop instead of an essay. Other than that I feel like the author knew what she was talking about, but she just needed to elaborate more. For the worst essay it was okay. The author had some good points but the paragraphs seemed to be a little long and run-onish. I feel like she could have separated the paragraphs more to make it flow better and easier to read for most people. I also think that she talked to long about some topics and not as long as others.

Tyricee Pelzer-Helium- Black basketball history

1. I reviewed the prompt on Basketball history: Integration of basketball. 2. I learned that the all-negro team had an illegal game with the university of Duke in 1944. This was the first time black displayed there talent on the hardware floor introducing the fast-break offense. 3. The writer use writing element first by giving us the history behind it. Then, the writer came with the facts on how the great players influence college. 4. One mistake I observed was how the writer jumped from civil rights movement to basketball, back to Martin Luther King it was fishey.lol. 5. If i was writing a essay in response i would also mention the great white player, or hipanic players. We all have an impact on the sport of basketball no matter your color, or race.

I chose this picture because It is funny and I think there is a hidden message in the picture. I thought this picture was very interesting because its a black bear hanging on a rope trying to get food out of a bird feeder. The bear is like saying to himself I will get this food out no matter what. I would recommend this to a classmate if they needed a good laugh or needed something to brighten their day. The pictures have no sources posted so there for they are poorly cited and you can not give credit to the person who took the picture and the person who posted it. After looking over these pictures I had to ask How does a 300lbs Black Bear climb up a tree and across a rope to eat bird seed is he confused? I don't think he looks like a bird or squirrel.

I chose these pictures because I was amazed in how Mexican drug lords have so much money. They have so much money they can waste it on panthers, lions, tigers, and even guns made out of gold. I would recommend this to a classmate because it shows even if you have all those guns and that much money you still can and will be taken down by law enforcement. There are sources on this page you just have to click the links and it takes you to the place where they got the pictures and information. My question is with all this money and guns how do they get caught???

I chose this picture and little article because i thought it was amazing and very thoughtful. This man was in jail and had time to think of a way to write the Lords Prayer in his skin. He had six silver pins and one gold pin and on those pins was the Lords Prayer which he had etched on to those little pins and this was not visible to the naked eye. I would recommend this to a classmate because I found it very interesting and diffrent.

Helium Emily Guenthner

The Prompt that I chose for my Helium blog this week, is The possible link between video game violence and children's behavior. The number one essay brought up a lot of points that could be true about the effects that these violent video games have on the minds of the young children who play them. That mentally and emotionally these children are changing every time that they play these violent video games. The best essay just flowed better than the other two, it was easy to rad and understand what the author wanted us to get out of his paper. The last essay that I read was not as easy or interesting to read at all. I found there to be choppy sentences which made the flow of the paper impossible. If I were going to write on this topic I would make sure to include the facts and give more examples and studies that were done on th
is topic.

The Prompt that I used in today’s Helium was how yeast makes bread rise. After reading these prompts I learnt that yeast east sugar and excretes carbon dioxide gas and ethyl alcohol. I also learnt that for the yeast to make the bread taste good it and for it to become active the temperature for fermentation needs to be 33 to 130 degrees F. I found that the better-written prompts had more descriptive detail explaining why and how yeast causes bread to rise. If I were to write a response I would also give detailed examples on the prompt I would also make sure that my grammatical errors were kept minimal allowing the reader to get a better understanding of the prompt.

This is an amazing picture, because even though the water fall is frozen it is still nice to look at or visit back when it was frozen. I can only imagine that the crystal in the ice sickles were beautiful let alone the ice sickles themselves are huge! I just thought this was a nice picture and if others stable upon it i encourage them to take a look at it.

This is a good message to people not to smoke. I think my peers that smoke should take a good look at this picture and see if it alters their decision to smoke.

Stumbleupon- Tim Cigelske- beer

I was looking around stumble upon and i can across an article stating that beer is better for rehydration then water is. The scientist gave them two pints on beer after a treadmill run in 104 degree heat. Scientist believe the sugar, salt, and the carbonation in the beer helps people absorb the fluids more quickly. The carbohydrates replace the calories lost during the work out. What if you goal was to drop ten pounds should you still drink the beer after working out? You would just be wasting your time if you did. Your just replacing the calories that you just lost in the work out. What if you wanted to gain muscle should you still drink the beer after working out? I don't think beer has really been known for giving you a six pack. If this is true why are the big name athletes drinking water and gatorade and not beer. Its just hard to believe that beer is better then water for rehydration.

StumbleUpon- Lauren Blake Proffitt- Politics Explained

I recomend this site to anyone who wants a laugh or wants to know a littel about the worlds ploiticts. The page is not cited that I can see. I wonder if there is a site that would explain religion this clrearly.

StumbleUpon- Lauren Blake Proffitt- Periodic Table of Elements

This is very interactive and extreamly useful to anyone either in the scientific field or just a student studying science. There aren't vany sources no this page but I don;t belive it would be type of page to call for them. My question is; how long did it take to make this page? This is alot of information to put down.

Whilst stumbling I encountered a website with all these useful random facts that I have never heard before, such as “The women of the Tiwi tribe in the South Pacific are married at birth” and also “An American aircraft in Vietnam shot itself down with one of its own missiles.” I found it interesting because these are facts that not many people know and also quite strange and bizarre facts. Furthermore I feel it is a great website to get questions for a Christmas type quiz or a “pub quiz” like we have in England.

Jones Helium M&Ms

The prompt I choose to review on stumble is if plain M&Ms or peanut M&Ms are better. The discussion had a poll and 59% of the people believed that peanut M&Ms are better. I learned that people who do not like peanuts also responded which makes the poll a little biased and only about 300 people took the poll which is a lot less then actually eat M&Ms. In the better essays the writers used personal experiences and used simple language that all readers that were interested in the topic could understand. The better essays had multiple paragraphs that would break up their thoughts and make it simple for the reader to understand each point being made. In the less viewed essay the writer just wrote one long paragraph which made it very difficult to understand what points were going together and which ones were not. The author also had many difficult words that not every reader would be able to understand, which could have been part of the reason that it was not viewed as often. If i were to approach this essay I would use paragraphs and a great introduction about the taste of plain M&Ms, that's what side I would agree with. I would also use the poll as part of my essay because it is interesting to see how many writers took the poll and would include this information.

while stumbling i ran across this picture. this is one of the most funniest animal picture i have ever seen and its kinda cute. this website show different in there "OMG" faces. OMG stands for "oh my God" and and this picture is a diffently omg moment. it shows that not only humans share stupid faces. i think this would be for people who loves animals and of course Internet acronyms.
This stumble is about funny hadwritten letters that people leave. I found this to be very fun, because i can picture some doing that, weither its a funny letter or a mean one. if you are haveing a bad and just need a lilttle picke me up this stumble is for you.
this website alllow you to see some very odd and kind of disturbing things. you will find different pictures of people doing some werid thing or just some werid things in general. it tells you how people in american really dont think before they do things. there is this one pic were a man is sitting in a truck and while pulling a fridge behind it, now how smart is that. but its funny, becasue it shows you how crazy people really are.

Helium 9/16 - Young koun Jeon

1. http://www.helium.com/knowledge/1179-sharing-personal-experiences-that-may-benefit-others 2. I learned various people in the world have personal experiences about sexual abuse, child abuse, and other many abuses. It made me so sorrowful and I felt people is suffering in the other side of world.
3. The author described its experience awfully well. When I read the experience of its, I could see what was the author experienced past and I even felt sorry for her somehow. I was so into it.
4. The lesser essays were containing other woe experiences but the explanation was not fittable. The choice of vocabulary was not good which causes little difficult to understand the essay.
5. I would approach to the topic with my experience carefully choosing the vocabulary I am going to use and carefully organize the experience I am going to describe.

Hartley Stumbleupon Crazy Cake

I liked this article because it was very creative in presenting each cake idea. There were designs from castles to computers. There were some pretty crazy ideas including a shirt and tie and monkeys. This website presented its ideas very clear and very descriptive. I would recommend this article to anyone interested in culinary arts and baking.

This article appealed to me because it gave important information about the most poisonus substances in the world. Ranging from plants to animals and liquids and chemicals, all had one thing in common. They were all very deadly if not caught and treated quickly. Did you know that if you get stung or bit by a pufferfish you have a 50% chance of dying? I also did not know that codiene was as poisonus as it is. I have personally taken it before and know that it doesn't make me feel good at all. Also there were many plants that are deadly if ingested or soaked through the skin. I would read more on this article if I was a doctor or someone wanting to learn about dangers that are everywhere present.

This was an uplifting stroy that you didn't expect to happen the way it did. The man in the audience was trying to catch a foul ball at a baseball game. He fell over the gate and crushed his face. The blood was pouring. All the guy wanted to do was sit back down and be able to give a baseball back to his 21 year old son. He failed at this but succeeded at meeting albert pujols, the hero that day. Albert helped the man stay calm while medical attention was seeked. This article would be good for anyone looking for a good story to read.

Comedy Movies- Bradley King- Stumble Upon

BORAT..."I have a sexy time with my sister"
I stumbled upon this website that list comedy movies you should see before you die. This article interested me because I am huge on watching comedies, and this website defiantly proved that by showing all these pictures of recent comedies that I have watched. I recommend this page to anyone that likes to watch comedies. Because after looking at this page you will realize just how much of your time has been spend in front of a tv, or how much money you have blown going to the movies. This site is not cited that well, all it does is label the pictures. I would like to know after looking at this page how much money I've actually wasted on watching these movies?

JUST THE FACTS OF A COMEDY
1.
Should make a person laugh more than 10 times!
2.Not to much drama.
3.The movie should start off with a bang, and keep the audience laughing through the credits.
4.A good comedy keeps you talking for days!
5. And cant list this one may not be appropriate.

DREADED! GRIM! MYSTERIOUS! - BRADLEY KING - STUMBLEUPON

I stumbled upon this website and was hooked the second I seen it. The 1979 movie Escape from Alcatraz is still one of my all time favorite movies. I seen this movie for the first time when I was only about 10 and watched it over and over. When I found this website all I could think about was that movie, and questions I had about Alcatraz. I recommend this website because it is very informative about the history of Alcatraz, and was able to answer many of the questions that I had. I also think it is a very good website if you are interested in American history, because I know I am. This website was sited well with authors names, and labels on all the pictures. I really have no questions about this article because it answered all of my questions.

Remembering 9/11-Bradley King-StumbleUpon

This page interested me because I thought what the city leaders did was an amazing way to remember those who lost their life's during 9/11. City leaders along with architects and lighting engineers used high powered spot lights to recreate the World Trade Center. The lights would shine in memory for thirty days. I recommend this article to everyone, because I think it should be read by all in remembrance of everyone that lost love ones that day. It is also a good way to realize that there are good people in the world that love and miss those lost ones. This page is very well cited. The authors name is posted, and the pictures are copyrighted. After I read this passage I would like to know if it would be possible to shine these lights on the anniversary of this tragic event every year?

ERIC JACKSON STUMBLE MASTER #3

The first page I stumbled across was one of a unique kind of art. They use money to make art work. In this example they used a dollar to create a t-shirt. I would recommend this page to anyone interested in art using materials from everyday life like money. The sources for this art work are those of Clay Randall’s. I did some more research on this topic and found that there are many things that can be created from money, a spider, a ring and can also be folded many ways to show unique things on bills. A question I have about this is how does one come about folding a one dollar bill into a t-shirt?
The next page I stumbled across was about the size of our world. Most people see tall buildings and structures and think there big or natural structures like mountains or deserts. Our earth is only a tiny speck on a never ending plane with an infinite amount of other objects. I would recommend this site to anyone interested in knowing the true size of earth because it is really not that big. This site was not clearly cited. A question I have is when will we find out if there is life in space or if it does exist elsewhere?
The last page I stumbled across is a comic of the world, but it is showing how Americans view the world. Most Americans view the world like this portrays it too. We think where the greatest country and we see other countries for what we use them for or do to them. I would recommend this to someone in politics because this is something I could see ending up in a news paper making fun of a highly ranked politician. The creator of this comic is unknown. A question I have about this topic is why are the people of the US so ignorant to other countries?

I would recommend this page to a classmate only if they liked animals, or Timon and Pumba. 4. The sources are well cited the picture of the two of them is quite funny, but it also shows how to animals of different kinds can be close. 5. I would like to know how someone got a picture of these to animals together?

This video is hilarious and i think that eeryone should watch this "Crazy Ass Goose" 4. This source was not cited very well but it was a very interesting funny video clip. 5. i would like to know what the dog was thinking about that goose attacking him?

StumbleUpon

http://www.lookatbook.com/flash/shell.html

The first site that I stumbled upon was titled "book".

This web page was very interesting, it explained how in thirty-six weeks a sketchbook was sent in random order between four artists. This was interesting because thirty-six weeks gives an artist plenty of time to show there creativity, so I know that the scrap books were really nice and had plenty of pictures inside.

I would recommend my classmates view this page because it is very interesting, although the information on the site isn't very heavy. I don't believe that sources are cited well on this site. All that is mainly given is info about "book". One question that lies in my head about this web page is why aren't personal photos of the scrapbook artists with personal detail about them available on the site?

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1MSzJQ/acidcow.com/pics/4018-if-you-printed-the-internet-6-pics.html/

This next site that I stumbled upon is a little weird. The title of it is "If you Printed the Internet". This web page was interesting because it explained how long it would take to print the internet, or at least estimated how long it would take. I was definately surprised to see 57,000 years (Geez). That would be rediculously long. I would recommend my classmate review and read this web page if they would want to at least get an estimation of how long it would take to print out the whole internet. Sources as far as names are not cited well on this web page, however sources such as what you would need to use to print such as an Inkjet printer and the ink type are well cited. A question that I have about this topic is "How long did it take for the publishers of the website to come up with this information"?

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1fQ6TY/wickedhalo.blogspot.com/2009/09/fallen-princesses.html/

The title of this web page is " Fallen Princesses". An interesting topic about this web page is that they are discussing the many issues that affect real women, such as self image and addiction. By addiction I'm assuming that they are talking about plastic surgery mainly. I say that because they show an image on the site of a woman being marked for what Im assuming is plastic surgery.

Over the years plastic surgery has become very common, many lives have been claimed and many errors have been made. It can be really scary. I would recommend a classmate read this web page because it shows some of hollywood's talented actresses who have played disney characters, who've actually had plastic surgery procedures done. Sources are cited well on this web page. In the beginning of this site the photographer for the pictures name is given. As for information, I'm thinking that the author of this website takes credit for what is discussed. A question that I have about this site is what statistics of celebrity women in the acting world have had plastic surgery.

Nicole Rogers SU eath footprints

Wow so this next website I stumbled upon was a huge eye opener. You take a test to find out how much it takes for you to live on this planet. Like I took the quiz and I found out that if everyone on the planet lived like I do, it would take the resources of 4.1 planets. And 18 global acres of the earths productive area. This is a good website just to see how much a single person makes an impact on this earth. The only thing I would say about the site is, could you have put all the results for each country together and average them out?

Talley - Stumble Upon - Mon. Sep 14

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#1SQWlc/www.saynotocrack.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/03/people-sideways.jpg/ - The first stumble I came across is this picture and at first look it simply looks like a man sittinn on a concert wall reading a newspaper while his friends are proped up against the wall. Though the man sitting looks normal the other two men look alittle more awkard in leaning against the wall. While I started looking closely at the picture I realized that the three men are laying against the ground. The picture is an illusion because you believe that the three man are up against the wall when in reality they are laying against the floor while others are walking by.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2MLwzK/www.ptable.com// - I stumbled upon the periodic table. The periodic table is made up of all kinds of elements those that are man-made, and those produced by the earth. Many things are stated on the periodic table such as the atomic number, the mass, the name, and the symbol of the element. The perodic table is world know. The table is also broke into sections; metals, and non-metals. The perodic table is a very helpful tool you use it all the time through out you school life.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#6i9ChZ/i121.photobucket.com/albums/o238/KatrinaMarie_photos/Niagrafalls.jpg/- The picture shows a very rare sight of Nigara falls. In 1911 the falls froze completely. In the picture it shows children and familys playing I would infer that they are ice skating on the frozen ice. The picture looks dark and cold; for one the time frame it is taken in 1911 and the types of cloths they wore back then where long dark dresses. It is the middle of winter is also why the picture looks so dark and cold.

Rocha Stumbleupon

This week I read “You know you’re in college when” in Stumbleupon. I chose this one because I think it is interesting for all of us here in class. It shows a lot of things we start doing after getting in college and I could see that almost everything fits in what I saw here. It’s up to each one of us what we will do. We don’t have anyone to control uswhile we are here. But it means that everything that happens with us while we are in college is our responsibility, so we have to take care of ourselves in order to be successful in our four years in college.

Bo Foster HELL OF SAND click here

I think this site was pretty interesting because you could make different cool designs and while your at it you could lay down some gun powder leading to C-4 and click fire and light the gun powder and watch the gun powder lead to the C-4 and watch it explode it was pretty cool. You could also make a spout and watch it fill up and or mix with the other colors of sand. You could also make a cool design and watch it fill up with the different color sands. I would refer this to another class mate if they have a creative mind.

This page on stumble caught my eye. I have never seen a cake like this before. If I liked it this much and thought it was interesting I think the rest of my class mates would think so also. It has several different sites on the side of the page that link you to other cake mater pieces. My only question would be; How did they make it sit up like that?

Periodic Table

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#2MLwzK/www.ptable.com//

I stumbled upon this page and it is very convenient for all students. If I was say to need the periodic table and it was to small in the book to read this page would help me so much. When you click on a element it makes it bigger and tells you if it's a non-metal or metal. This page would help other students with bio class or most likely other science classes. There are no other sites cited on this page. My question would be; Why don't teachers put this on their websites for student use?

AMAZING BUG

http://www.stumbleupon.com/s/#8Rctxr/www.ourlighterside.com/stuff/engineer//

This page is so awesome!!! The reason I like it so much is because I have a silver bug myself. Ron Patrick put a lot of hard work into this street legal car. It is by far the coolest bug I have ever seen. It has two engines one of which is a jet, the other is a gasoline powered engine. This guy is extremely smart, he graduated with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Other class mates would love this especially if they happen to own a bug. At the bottom of the page it shows other links to other cool things he has created. How did he cut a hole that big into that small of a car?

Bo Foster HEMP sad but true click here

What is funny about this picture is the comments on the picture are true. Because you can use hemp to make paper and its a lot easier to grow back and takes a shorter amount of time to grow back unlike trees and we need trees to make oxygen so why cut them down. I would recommend this to a class mate if they didn't know a use for hemp in replacement of trees.

nicole rogers SU underground home

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the movie Peter Pan, who lives in a tree house, and stays a kid forever. well now you can, except for the staying a kid forever, but because of today's creative people, things like living underground or in tree houses are actually possible. I found a website that had every detail on how they made the house underground. I'm not sure who to recommend this page to, but I guess I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to build a house underground because they go through the steps of how they built the house, also anyone who might want to help the community and build a house. The site was eye catching and very well sited and very organized. After seeing this website I have not questions for the site. But I wanna make a house like that!

Bo Foster The Internet ?How long? click here

What i found out about this web page that was interesting is how long it would take to read the Internet, print it, how much ink it would to take to print it etc. I would refer this page to a class mate because its kind of amazing how long these time periods are they're talking about. I guess you can say its useless information but its cool useless information.

Andrew Wolford -- Stumble

Well the first site that I found that was blog worthy was a place called grooveshark. Fromm the looks of it and the short time I spent playing with the site, since it is almost 2am when I'm doing this, the site seems to be along the lines of an internet radio website. I dont even need to say why I'd suggest this, I mean come on, free internet radio.
Grooveshark

My second blog worthy site is a link from funnyjunk.com (thanks to the stumble toolbar). I just found this image too good to pass up, so heres this weeks image. Some one working at this store had way too much time on their hands, but it was time well wasted. I really cant recommend this page since I posted most of its contents above but it was good for a laugh.

The third page I found Is a image that wont be understood unless you happen to watch Futureama. It is an image that Is spun off the idea of Obama's red and blue change posters, but instead of Obama: The Hypnotoad. No need to say any more.

Jones Stumble fun sites

The first website that i found interesting was http://www.aim.com/acronyms.adp. It is a web site that lists a lot of acronyms for AIM instant messaging that people use. I thought it was interesting to see how many out of the ones listed that I personally use, which was not as many as I was expecting. I reccomend this website to anyone who does not understand this kind of lingo, if they recieve a message in acronyms or interested in the acronyms people have made up. The source is sited as AOL and AIM, and says that multiple places on the page, however the year is not on the site. Who comes up with all these acronyms?

The second website I found was calledhttp://www.thecolor.com/Coloring/Snorkeling.aspx. It is a coloring website for younger children that allows them to choose different pictures and color online by selecting a color from a variety on the side of the page, then by clicking on the selection you wish to have that color. It is new for me and I found it interesting that fun activities for me when i was younger are now even online for easy participation. I would reccomend this for someone younger that i wanted to color that did not have the supplies, it is still fun to choose the colors for each part of the picture. The site is done by the color since 2006.

The third website I found was called http://www.ultrasonic-ringtones.com/. This website displays about fifteen different sound clips of ultrasonic short ringtone that you can test your hearing with. I made it to level D untill i could no longer hear the last three sounds. I think it was fun to see what level I could hear to, it is a fun way to waste time and test your hearing ability with your friends. The sources are not sited that well, so I wonder if all the information the site offers is true?

Lauren Blake Proffitt- StumbleUpon- painting an eye

I am an amateur painter and one area I find myself lacking in artistically is painting humans. I also have a deep love for eyes and the stories they tell. This website is extremely interesting to me because I would love to know how to paint anything better and this showes me one of my favorite things. I suggest this site to anyone in my situation of artistry. The site is not cited at all but I do not believe this is a call for one. My question is; is there a certain type of paint that was used in this tutorial or will any type work?

I found this article interesting cause it was amazing how some animals are so stupid and it was also very humorous! I recommend this to my fellow classmates cause this article is very funny and just plain stupid. There are no sources sited on this page so i guessed they did a bad job cause no one gets credit for this article. My question for this article is how long did it take for the squirrel to finally go for the nut?

This article was really cool cause it showed you how to change regular photos into really cool and unrealistic photos with a program that is very simple. I recommend this most people cause it is something fun to do when your bored and it also helps you kinda open up your imagination. This article was cited finally so this was by far the best cited article i have ever seen for today. the question for this article was how much does the program cost to have it?

Gooding-Stumble-Photoshop

When I stumbled upon this I was blow away. Everyone knows what photoshop is and what it can do to pictures. I never knew it could do changes as drastic as this though! It amazed me how real it looked and how editorial it looked. I've always wished I was able to create photos like this myself. But I've never had the time to learn. I think that if a classmate was into photoshop and photography in general then I would recommend this stumble to them. It could be a good learning stumble for them to see what effects they may be able to use on some of their pictures. I also think this stumble would be good for any classmate just wanting to try photoshop for themselves. The stumble is cited a little. It is mostly just the one author of the stumble and he is the only citation really. My question would be :How long did it take you to master photoshop effects?. The only research I would do would be to get photoshop for myself and try it out and find some tutorials online an try to learn how to do it for myself.

I love to read. I know most people hate it but I love it. It's what I do in my spare time or on a rainy day. This stumble was really interesting to me because the only bookstores I've ever been to have been Barnes & Nobles or Books a Million. I have never seen any bookstores like this. Nor have I ever been in one. I actually didn't know these book stores existed. This website would be good for a classmate who also enjoys to read and wants to see how different bookstores in different countries and states are built and designed. This also would be good just for any classmate who wants to see how different buildings are created and established. This stumble is cited very well. Under every picture there is the name of the bookstore and where it is established. My question would be : How did you come up with this particular design for your bookstore? I think further research would have to be to look up more about these stores online or to go and visit some of these bookstores. Geez going to Paris for research is a bummer. :)

This was the most intersting stumble of them all. I only knew the basics of mummification. Such as its wrapped in cloth and put into a sarcophagus and that the brain is pulled out by the nose (YUCK) . But I didn't know a lot of the other steps. Such as putting the organs in different jars for the Egyptian gods to watch over them. I also didn't know that they covered the body in resin and stuffed it full of linen to make the body look fuller. It was all very enlightening and I learned a lot of things that I didn't know before about the Egyptian process of mummification. I think any classmate would enjoy this stumble. Not only is it education and informative it is also a game. You get to actually do the mummification process yourself. It was a lot of fun actually, as weird as that sounds. This stumble would also be good for anyone doing a report of the process of mummification. I think that it would help them a lot in their report. I couldn't find any citations on the stumble but I do believe whoever created this stumble was very well informed and knew what they were talking about. My question would be: How long did the process of mummification take? I think further research would be that I would have to do my own investigation on the mummification process .
