This page got my attention very well just by the title. "The workplace favors athletes, so do your best to be one." This caught my attention because I am an athlete, and who wouldn't want to be able to get an easy job. This was new information to me though, I never thought by just being an athlete that it could help in getting a job. What I did know though was that if you workout on a team or just individually everyday that it helps you have a better day. The article informed me that people that workout in the morning, will have a much better day than people that don't workout. Working out teaches workplace values such as teamwork, shared commitment, decision making, and leadership. I recommend this article to anyone that is not on any kind of team. Because I think that if your not on some kind of team you need to try and get involved, or maybe just join a gym. You will get many benefits besides just getting in better shape. You will also gain some of the workplace skills mentioned before, that can be used everyday. This was a very well cited article. The author cited information that wasn't there own throughout the article. After I read this article I want to know if being an athlete really helps you out in the workplace. I can see how it could, and it is something I may do some more research on.
