I found this site about downloading music online to save the planet instead of buying CD's. Carnegie Mellon University and Stanford University has done a study and buying music online helps cuts carbon emissions by 40% to 80%.

Who still buys CDs? I tend to be naturally green with my penchant for all things digital. You may have noticed that with the lack of paper I hand out in class. The down side of telling someone to download their music is that some people don't seem to know the difference between legal downloading and illegal downloading.
