The first page I stumbled across was one of a unique kind of art. They use money to make art work. In this example they used a dollar to create a t-shirt. I would recommend this page to anyone interested in art using materials from everyday life like money. The sources for this art work are those of Clay Randall’s. I did some more research on this topic and found that there are many things that can be created from money, a spider, a ring and can also be folded many ways to show unique things on bills. A question I have about this is how does one come about folding a one dollar bill into a t-shirt?

The next page I stumbled across was about the size of our world. Most people see tall buildings and structures and think there big or natural structures like mountains or deserts. Our earth is only a tiny speck on a never ending plane with an infinite amount of other objects. I would recommend this site to anyone interested in knowing the true size of earth because it is really not that big. This site was not clearly cited. A question I have is when will we find out if there is life in space or if it does exist elsewhere?

The last page I stumbled across is a comic of the world, but it is showing how Americans view the world. Most Americans view the world like this portrays it too. We think where the greatest country and we see other countries for what we use them for or do to them. I would recommend this to someone in politics because this is something I could see ending up in a news paper making fun of a highly ranked politician. The creator of this comic is unknown. A question I have about this topic is why are the people of the US so ignorant to other countries?

The first site that I stumbled upon was titled "book".


This web page was very interesting, it explained how in thirty-six weeks a sketchbook was sent in random order between four artists. This was interesting because thirty-six weeks gives an artist plenty of time to show there creativity, so I know that the scrap books were really nice and had plenty of pictures inside.


I would recommend my classmates view this page because it is very interesting, although the information on the site isn't very heavy. I don't believe that sources are cited well on this site. All that is mainly given is info about "book". One question that lies in my head about this web page is why aren't personal photos of the scrapbook artists with personal detail about them available on the site?

This next site that I stumbled upon is a little weird. The title of it is "If you Printed the Internet". This web page was interesting because it explained how long it would take to print the internet, or at least estimated how long it would take. I was definately surprised to see 57,000 years (Geez). That would be rediculously long. I would recommend my classmate review and read this web page if they would want to at least get an estimation of how long it would take to print out the whole internet. Sources as far as names are not cited well on this web page, however sources such as what you would need to use to print such as an Inkjet printer and the ink type are well cited. A question that I have about this topic is "How long did it take for the publishers of the website to come up with this information"?

The title of this web page is " Fallen Princesses". An interesting topic about this web page is that they are discussing the many issues that affect real women, such as self image and addiction. By addiction I'm assuming that they are talking about plastic surgery mainly. I say that because they show an image on the site of a woman being marked for what Im assuming is plastic surgery.

Over the years plastic surgery has become very common, many lives have been claimed and many errors have been made. It can be really scary. I would recommend a classmate read this web page because it shows some of hollywood's talented actresses who have played disney characters, who've actually had plastic surgery procedures done. Sources are cited well on this web page. In the beginning of this site the photographer for the pictures name is given. As for information, I'm thinking that the author of this website takes credit for what is discussed. A question that I have about this site is what statistics of celebrity women in the acting world have had plastic surgery.

Wow so this next website I stumbled upon was a huge eye opener. You take a test to find out how much it takes for you to live on this planet. Like I took the quiz and I found out that if everyone on the planet lived like I do, it would take the resources of 4.1 planets. And 18 global acres of the earths productive area. This is a good website just to see how much a single person makes an impact on this earth. The only thing I would say about the site is, could you have put all the results for each country together and average them out?

Though the man sitting looks normal the other two men look alittle more awkard in leaning against the wall. While I started looking closely at the picture I realized that the three men are laying against the ground. The picture is an illusion because you believe that the three man are up against the wall when in reality they are laying against the floor while others are walking by.

In the picture it shows children and familys playing I would infer that they are ice skating on the frozen ice. The picture looks dark and cold; for one the time frame it is taken in 1911 and the types of cloths they wore back then where long dark dresses. It is the middle of winter is also why the picture looks so dark and cold.

This week I read “You know you’re in college when” in Stumbleupon. I chose this one because I think it is interesting for all of us here in class. It shows a lot of things we start doing after getting in college and I could see that almost everything fits in what I saw here. It’s up to each one of us what we will do. We don’t have anyone to control uswhile we are here. But it means that everything that happens with us while we are in college is our responsibility, so we have to take care of ourselves in order to be successful in our four years in college.

I think this site was pretty interesting because you could make different cool designs and while your at it you could lay down some gun powder leading to C-4 and click fire and light the gun powder and watch the gun powder lead to the C-4 and watch it explode it was pretty cool. You could also make a spout and watch it fill up and or mix with the other colors of sand. You could also make a cool design and watch it fill up with the different color sands. I would refer this to another class mate if they have a creative mind.

This page on stumble caught my eye. I have never seen a cake like this before. If I liked it this much and thought it was interesting I think the rest of my class mates would think so also. This page is so awesome!!! The reason I like it so much is because I have a silver bug myself. Ron Patrick put a lot of hard work into this street legal car. It is by far the coolest bug I have ever seen. It has two engines one of which is a jet, the other is a gasoline powered engine. This guy is extremely smart, he graduated with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Other class mates would love this especially if they happen to own a bug. At the bottom of the page it shows other links to other cool things he has created. How did he cut a hole that big into that small of a car?

What is funny about this picture is the comments on the picture are true. Because you can use hemp to make paper and its a lot easier to grow back and takes a shorter amount of time to grow back unlike trees and we need trees to make oxygen so why cut them down. I would recommend this to a class mate if they didn't know a use for hemp in replacement of trees.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the movie Peter Pan, who lives in a tree house, and stays a kid forever. well now you can, except for the staying a kid forever, but because of today's creative people, things like living underground or in tree houses are actually possible. I found a website that had every detail on how they made the house underground. I'm not sure who to recommend this page to, but I guess I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to build a house underground because they go through the steps of how they built the house, also anyone who might want to help the community and build a house. The site was eye catching and very well sited and very organized. After seeing this website I have not questions for the site. But I wanna make a house like that!

Well the first site that I found that was blog worthy was a place called grooveshark. Fromm the looks of it and the short time I spent playing with the site, since it is almost 2am when I'm doing this, the site seems to be along the lines of an internet radio website. I dont even need to say why I'd suggest this, I mean come on, free internet radio.

Some one working at this store had way too much time on their hands, but it was time well wasted. Jones Stumble fun sites

The first website that i found interesting was http://www.aim.com/acronyms.adp. It is a web site that lists a lot of acronyms for AIM instant messaging that people use. I thought it was interesting to see how many out of the ones listed that I personally use, which was not as many as I was expecting. I reccomend this website to anyone who does not understand this kind of lingo, if they recieve a message in acronyms or interested in the acronyms people have made up. The source is sited as AOL and AIM, and says that multiple places on the page, however the year is not on the site. Who comes up with all these acronyms?

The second website I found was calledhttp://www.thecolor.com/Coloring/Snorkeling.aspx. It is a coloring website for younger children that allows them to choose different pictures and color online by selecting a color from a variety on the side of the page, then by clicking on the selection you wish to have that color. It is new for me and I found it interesting that fun activities for me when i was younger are now even online for easy participation. I would reccomend this for someone younger that i wanted to color that did not have the supplies, it is still fun to choose the colors for each part of the picture. The site is done by the color since 2006.

The third website I found was called http://www.ultrasonic-ringtones.com/. This website displays about fifteen different sound clips of ultrasonic short ringtone that you can test your hearing with. I made it to level D untill i could no longer hear the last three sounds. I think it was fun to see what level I could hear to, it is a fun way to waste time and test your hearing ability with your friends. The sources are not sited that well, so I wonder if all the information the site offers is true?

I am an amateur painter and one area I find myself lacking in artistically is painting humans. I also have a deep love for eyes and the stories they tell. This website is extremely interesting to me because I would love to know how to paint anything better and this showes me one of my favorite things. When I stumbled upon this I was blow away. Everyone knows what photoshop is and what it can do to pictures. I never knew it could do changes as drastic as this though! It amazed me how real it looked and how editorial it looked. I've always wished I was able to create photos like this myself. But I've never had the time to learn. I think that if a classmate was into photoshop and photography in general then I would recommend this stumble to them. It could be a good learning stumble for them to see what effects they may be able to use on some of their pictures. I also think this stumble would be good for any classmate just wanting to try photoshop for themselves. The stumble is cited a little. It is mostly just the one author of the stumble and he is the only citation really. My question would be :How long did it take you to master photoshop effects?. The only research I would do would be to get photoshop for myself and try it out and find some tutorials online an try to learn how to do it for myself.

I love to read. I know most people hate it but I love it. It's what I do in my spare time or on a rainy day. This stumble was really interesting to me because the only bookstores I've ever been to have been Barnes & Nobles or Books a Million. I have never seen any bookstores like this. Nor have I ever been in one. I actually didn't know these book stores existed. This website would be good for a classmate who also enjoys to read and wants to see how different bookstores in different countries and states are built and designed. This also would be good just for any classmate who wants to see how different buildings are created and established. This stumble is cited very well. Under every picture there is the name of the bookstore and where it is established. My question would be : How did you come up with this particular design for your bookstore? I think further research would have to be to look up more about these stores online or to go and visit some of these bookstores. Geez going to Paris for research is a bummer. :)

This was the most intersting stumble of them all. I only knew the basics of mummification. Such as its wrapped in cloth and put into a sarcophagus and that the brain is pulled out by the nose (YUCK) . But I didn't know a lot of the other steps. Such as putting the organs in different jars for the Egyptian gods to watch over them. I also didn't know that they covered the body in resin and stuffed it full of linen to make the body look fuller. It was all very enlightening and I learned a lot of things that I didn't know before about the Egyptian process of mummification. I think any classmate would enjoy this stumble. Not only is it education and informative it is also a game. You get to actually do the mummification process yourself. It was a lot of fun actually, as weird as that sounds. This stumble would also be good for anyone doing a report of the process of mummification. I think that it would help them a lot in their report. I couldn't find any citations on the stumble but I do believe whoever created this stumble was very well informed and knew what they were talking about. My question would be: How long did the process of mummification take? I think further research would be that I would have to do my own investigation on the mummification process .

Evidently the Navy doesn't know where to stop plunging with their submarines.  As far as I can determine, the sub they plan to make next will dive farther than the sea is thought to be deep.  It will go 37,000 ft while the deepest point of any ocean, according to "The Physics Factbook" (http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2004/CuiMiuChin.shtml), is 36089 ft in the Mindanao Trench.  I guess a voyage to the bottom of the sea will truly be possible for someone.  Just not me. I'm all for giant squids and bioluminescent jellyfish, but there wouldn't be a very good escape route in emergency from that far down the deep blue.

I am someone who has managed to avoid and thus develop a pretty good fear of surgery.  Without such exposure to the techniques of our fine medical society, I think an MRI machine is pretty barbaric.  Is it any wonder that the tools on this page give me images of dark, masked evil scientists interested in the maximum pain levels one can endure?  This page is not for the squeamish. It is, however, a great place to learn where the term "blow smoke up your ass" came from.  I think pre-professional majors should examine this page carefully in an attempt to figure out what patients absolutely do not want to see in the hands of their doctors during an appointment or visit to the ER.

I could not believe this paint was made by 210,000 tiny photographs. It could be very hard to accpmplish such art works.

Additional fact: The Starry Night has striking similarities to a sketch of the Whirlpool Galaxy, drawn by Lord Rosse 44 years before van Gogh's work.
